The war-mongering Donnie Trump is incapable of anything but outrage, that's his forte.

On Italian TV news we are hearing that more than a dozen of protesters have been killed. Well done theocracy! Feel the shame ...

Tehran is accusing foreign agents [why not fairies and elves?].

Now, Tehran should realize that the situation is not that easy to manage. Ayatollahs should reconsider their economical policies, just not to have to deal with an other mess [Syria style].

Always ironic how the US frames protests like this. Tens of thousands of Iranians have taken to the streets to chant the overthrow of Ayatollah Khomeini and although it’s a country of 80 million the US spin is that Iranians want regime change and the US should support it.

500 thousand Ukrainians (in a country of 45 million) took to the streets of Kiev in 2013, burning federal buildings and driving the elected president from his office firing upon his motorcade as he sped away and this received support from the US.

America will attack anyone who doesn't like Israel. Or Saudi Arabia.

iran is suffering from EXACTLY what the far left attacks the US for, creating an ever-expanding empire of violence, war and conquest that is overstretched, has financially destroyed them, and is finally collapsing on itself. Only took 40 years for it to happen to iran.

No, it couldn't be iran's genocide in syria, its injuring/murdering of thousands of american soldiers in iraq, its threats for 40 years to destroy Israel, its overthrow of a democratically-elected Yemen government, its oppression of millions of minorities inside iran, its illegal nuclear weapons and ICBM programs, no - it couldn't be any of those things...

I dont think the iranian people can overthrow the mullahs supported by the Republican Gusrd without outside intervention

Nor do I think all the iranians are of a single mind

But thats just my opinion and we can always hope

I agree, I've said for 30 years that it will take an outside military campaign to utterly destroy the fake iranian regime. Syria's assad is a perfect example; these animals will kill every last iranian if that's what it takes to stay in power.

That said, there are signs that with VERY tough sanctions - unlike the ones against NK that the scumbag chinese and russians keep violating - would force the regime to collapse upon itself. Another problem, though with sanctions are other lowlifes like the germans, who would sell their mothers to continue trading with the iranians no matter what.

Since 1952 thousands of Saudi students have attended schools here in the US without incident.

And those protests in Ukraine were throughout the country, even in russian speaking areas. Yup, old Yanuker had gold plated toilet with armrests and headrests for a warm comfortable dump, while many others lucky to have A toilet that worked.

I've talked to a couple of young Iranians who came here to US to train in mechanical trades and get journey tickets, and they hate their govt...all of it! The intervention in Syria, the repressive religious police, just about everything. Many young people want change, but their hard-line Islam govt won't allow it.

There’s no question that there are plenty of Iranians that want change. And they are 70 million strong, so if there is any consensus it’s a piece of cake and doesn’t require US interference in another bloody regime change.

As mentioned, the US and Israel will always get blamed for whatever stunts these theocracies and kleptocracies pull but Netanyahu is having none of that. I think he expresses the good wishes of millions of people everywhere. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...ters-denies-israeli-involvement-idUSKBN1EQ0TM

That's certain to happen anyway, and in fact has already happened. Israel will naturally be blamed as well.

Nobody has "ignored" 9-11. OBL and AQ wanted the attack to have a Saudi face.. and they have been successful in that too.

We have also to consider that the Iranian authorities have attempted to stop the access of smartphones to the net, without success, as for I can see. Those little devices are a real windows of what's happening. Obviously they are amplifying all [you know how TV News adore similar things, overall the Western ones].

The real dimensions of the protests are still to be evaluated. Anyway, more than a dozen of casualties indicate that something serious is happening.

P.S. Italian press reports that this night other 9 persons have lost their life.

Do you mean the Libyan ones [only] or generally all the African who have reached Italy passing through Libya?

They are almost all in Italy [since the other EU "partners" don't want to share the weight of these waves of immigration]. Anyway the last year we have recorded a decrease of 30% in the arrivals by sea. There are serious concerns about what they are doing in Libya, it seems that there are compounds where migrants gather that are similar to concentration camps ...

Possibly one reason he was an MI6 asset. At least that was quite widely regarded to be the case as far back as the 1980's/1990's.
