Is everybody getting logged out every 15 minutes?

I am getting logged out after a few minutes. If I stop and check my article, I get logged out in the interim, and have to go back and start all over again. This is extremely irritating.

I am hoping that you will fix whatever is wrong with your site very soon.

Believe me, no one wishes that this would be sorted more than the Mods themselves. Its frustrating for us all, not knowing what the problem is and having to endure it, day after day.

There is nothing we can do, though. Only the Admin can sort things out and we are unsure how well that is going, or what kind of problems may be encountered.

Just a suggestion... when you first log in, be sure to check the "remember me" box.

You will still experience a few data base errors, but at least you won't time out and have to sign back in.

 

The 'remember me' box shouldn't log you out when you are already logged in. It will only log you out when you exist the forum.

 

Well, maybe I didn't express my thought very well, what I meant was for him to check the "remember me" box, when he first logs in.

My experience has been, that if I neglect to do that... I will time out, after a period of inactivity, and will then have to log in again.

Checking the remember me box, will eliminate that issue.

 

Yep, use Google Chrome and tick remember me. No problems.

 

Firefox here. I haven't been logged off for about a month or so.

 

Sometimes every 2 minutes or less...but hey lets just keep giving those donations and see no change...how bout gang???

 

I was having the slow loading problem and it just wouldn't load last night. My computer is plenty fast.

I went to log in today and found I was still on from last night. That is also frustrating as a Moderator because those that may have looked to me, I wasn't here. Argh.

 

I looked for you all night to no avail.

Seriously, for the past week or so, the forum has worked flawlessly for me. I'm sorry you guys are experiencing issues.

 

You can stay logged in all night. If you have exited out of the forum, you won't show up as being online.

 

No. Only every 15 seconds for me.

 

Im not getting logged out at all....for those who are, try logging out, then doing a hard refresh of your browser {CTRL + F5}.. and log back in..maybe you have a corrupt cookie

 

Well that made me laugh!!! I am back now. I had a sick mother which prevented me from being online for about a month.

I hear P.F. is having a ton of errors again...ugh. I tried logging in a couple of weeks ago and got a data base error. I sure hope this gets resolved soon!

So do you have it where when you log in, your computer automatically remembers your password? You might want to change it on occassion. If you do get kicked off you can ask us for our help. Unfortunately, you would have to create a new account. Hope you're just kidding!

 

Yep, it logs in automatically. No, I'm not kidding. I don't remember my password. But no worries. If the site isn't fixed soon, I'll probably leave.
