Turn off Tucker and read my posts. Anyone self quarantined is not infected because they have not been exposed to the pathogen. People not self quarantined may be infected because they have potentially been exposed to the pathogen.

Quarantine is separating the potentially infected from the uninfected. Very simple but to complex for you. Turn off Tucker and use some critical thought.

When one has been self quarantined for a period of time you know you are not infected.

No need. I’m well aware. I use quarantine in my work everyday and used it to my advantage during the pandemic.

Sure. Before someone like me decides to self quarantine they have been around potentially infected individuals. The act of quarantine is removing an infected or potentially infected individual from the population they were in and isolating them until we know they are not infected/contagious.

We know the time from infection to no longer being contagious is a rough average of two weeks for Covid (this is the numbers from the CDC. They recommend a 14 day quarantine). But I understand the incubation period alone of Covid can be 14 days so I prefer a longer period of about 3 weeks. If you don’t understand what an incubation period is just ask. I’m happy to explain.

So after a three week period in isolation we are quite certain the quarantined person is not infected. If there were no Covid symptoms it’s a near 0% chance the quarantined individual is contagious. At this point the quarantined person can interact with others who self quarantined in the same manner without any risk of transmission in either direction.

Until the self quarantined individual interacts with someone not also self quarantined we know there can be no infection because there has been no exposure to the pathogen.

 

Nope. I use quarantine routinely to prevent spread of infectious disease in about a dozen species. Now I use it in humans as well since there is a pandemic going on.

Of course there are asymptotically infected people that’s why I’m avoiding them. Antibody testing is pretty good at determining past infections. Not useful at all for detecting presymtomatic contagious individuals. Worse than PCR on that score. LOL. Please turn off Tucker and educate yourself.

The courts didn't rule on his COVID travel bans. Maybe that slipped your memory.

 

Barring a serious health issue I think he will run. There is nobody in sight who would try to unravel the strings of government it's claimed he doesn't understand so I hope he can win.

 

I doubt that he will run in 2024. TDS is and was bad enough the first time. I don’t want to go through that again. It will be worse the second time around.
