I doubt. They have a lot of challenges already. As Hillary mentioned that Putin is a tough guy, but he has thin skin. He is a compassionate man and he truly wants to help pro-Russian part of population of Ukraine. Actually any American president, in his shoes, would do exactly the same or even more. Western countries should make their choice, investing in Ukraine with Bandera admirers in the government is heading to a dead end. You cannot have an ally with unhappy population within the country.

You mixing up Crimea witht the naval base does tend to do that yes. You thinking that has any relevance even more.

I repeat thousands of troops in russian uniforms, with russian arms, russian armoured cars, russian helicopters are in crimea, if asked what nationality they have they state russian.

Are you naive , stupid or lying ?

    - - - Updated - - -

Nice try to divert the issue.

The referendum will be done under russian occupation no youtube video is going to change that fact.

Also it was peacefull in crimea before russians invaded , another simple fact .

    - - - Updated - - -

    I hope thats sarcasm .

The problem for Russia is that the West has a valid point in suggesting that the presence of Russian troops in Crimea has an effect on the referendum.

If Russian troops weren't currently in Crimea, the vote could more reasonably be considered legitimate. As things currently stand, there will be legitimate doubts cast on its results.

WW2 was a nobler war than most, but most modern wars don't really compare to it.

America hasn't fought a truly defensive war since then.

We have fought in defense of allies, however.

Once again. I don't lie. I am not an american propaganda machine. So I don't have to.
If you ask if there are russian battleships in Crimea I cannot deny it. Yes. they are there. But their mission there was always to protect Crimea and not to invade it. This naval base has more than 20 000 personnel. Russian personnel. Military personnel. They are in the territory of Crimea which is currently Ukraine. And I have never denied it. But I wouldn't lie as your propaganda obviously did showing you the photos of russian Baltic sea fleet as a PROOF OF INVASION WHICH HAS NEVER NEVER NEVER TAKEN PLACE!
Did you get my point? It is not that i change the subject. I asked for a proof and get a manipuilative photos that are deceiving an ignorant average amercian who has never heard of Black Sea fleet base in Sevastopol, Crimea.

Proof or it is a lie. It is not russian uniform. Russian uniform permits to identify the soldier of naval force from a paratrooper, engineer, driver or armor unit operator. It is smpossible to do with the uniforms of military style that anyone can buy. And the use of "russian uniforms" is a manipulation and a lie. and all those who use the terms are either victims of propaganda or criminals that need to be prosecuted in the 2nd Nuremberg by UN.

Every russian military rifle has an ID number which can help to identify it. As for Kalashnikovs and other 'russian' arms - they are widely used and even manufactured all over the world.

It needs to be checked, because the photos I have seen are the photos of a regular armored car that are possible to buy. If you want to buy a civilian modification of this APC and you have 3 million USD I can get you one to prove that it is yet another propaganda.

Only as part of Black sea fleet mentioned above.

Crimeans have always been russians. The crimea was made a part of Ukraine only in 1960s and the people there remained as russian as one could be. you could read a Wikipedia article about the national structure of Crimea but as any average american you prefer to stick with propaganda which sounds more pleasant the ugly truth.

None. And I answered and proved it. Can you do the same in return and explain why you trust the information which is obviously a misleading lie! Can you tell me what made you thinking that the uniform that the guys in Ukraine are wearing is a unform of russian army? Can you tell me what made you to believe the conclusion that the arms in the hands of people have come to them from Russian army? Are you thinking that if person is driving Hummer then he should be a part of US military force? If not then why you think that russian analogues (which were sold to toher countries as well are located only in the army and are destroyed after usage in the army instead of coming to the hands of public owners? What makes you thinking that the product of GAZ is only for military and doesn't have a civilian analogue which job is to look like a military one? Why the hell the photos of russian ships are used to influence the opinion of american citizens that there is an assault on Ukrainian territory?

As we have seen above that was all lies about russian occupation. And as we see here you fail to comment a video which contradicts with an image that was created by your propaganda.

It was not. Two days before the self defense of Crimea took control there was a fight between crimean tatars (who shouted "Ukraine!!!" and "Allakh Akbar!!!") and Russians who surrounded the parliament of Crimea demanding that it starts the referendum about the status of Crimea. You need a proof? I can prove it. I can prove my every word. And can you do another favour at least for two of your propaganda myths?

Except that the claim made by Paet were supposedly made by Doctor Olga Bogomolets who, oops, vehemently denies she ever made them and in fact states the inverse that she only saw protestors who were shot by the snipers:

15.17 Our correspondent, Damien McElroy, has spoken to the doctor at the centre of the claims that snipers that shot people in Kiev were hired by Maidan leaders:

Olga Bogomolets said she had not told Mr Paet that policemen and protesters had been killed in the same manner.

"Myself I saw only protesters. I do not know the type of wounds suffered by military people," she told The Telegraph. "I have no access to those people."

But she said she had asked for a full forensic criminal investigation into the deaths that occurred in the Maidan. "No one who just sees the wounds when treating the victims can make a determination about the type of weapons. I hope international experts and Ukrainian investigators will make a determination of what type of weapons, who was involved in the killings and how it was done. I have no data to prove anything.

"I was a doctor helping to save people on the square. There were 15 people killed on the first day by snipers. They were shot directly to the heart, brain and arteries. There were more than 40 the next day, 12 of them died in my arms.

"Our nation has to ask the question who were the killers, who asked them to come to Ukraine. We need good answers on the basis of expertise."

Mr Paet's assertion that an opposition figure was behind the Maidan massacre was not one she could share.

"I think you can only say something like this on the basis of fact," she said. "Its not correct and its not good to do this. It should be based on fact."

She said the new government in Kiev had assured her a criminal investigation had begun but that she had not direct contact with it so far.

"They told me they have begun a criminal process and if they say that I believe them. The police have not given me any information on it."

So not only is your initial claim adamantly false so to is your Chomskyite "manufacturing consenst" nonsense regarding the press never following up on the story!

It seems that the only ones not doing their due diligence are the defenders of the criminals against humanity and violators of basic human rights, because I found this information in a cursory 2 minute google search.

What is not in doubt is that the claim that the same snipers shot both protestors and police based on medical evidence is unsubstantiated rubbish and in fact the Doctor who supposedly adamantly denies that any such evidence exists. What is not in doubt is that Yanukovich granted amnesty to the officials directly responsible for the overt violations of the right to peacefully assemble and petition the government for a redress of grievances on November 30th, proving the responsibility ultimately lies with him.

He aligned himself with Hitler first actually under the secret protocol of the Molotov Ribbentrop Pact under which they divided Eastern Europe and Eurasia amongst each other culminating in the joint Soviet-Reich invasion of Poland.

Unequivocally yes, the Crimea is sovereign Ukrainian territory as recognized under international law and is currently under the foreign military occupation of the Russian Federation.

According to that treaty Russian troops are required to stay on the Naval Base they have moved out of said base into Crimea proper and are now in overt occupation of sovereign Ukrainian territory in overt violation of international law.

I would merely note that the Cold War ended with the dissolution of the former Soviet Union; that is to say, it ended until Vladimir Putin decided, unilaterally, to reignite it.

Oh, for the record, that observation is not anti-Russian; it is merely anti-Putin.

    Excellent point!

Too many people, it seems, are ignorant of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact of 1939.

Hitler and Stalin were (morally, at least) two peas in the same pod.

Okay so first you're justifying the impeachment "vote" by saying it's in accordance with the constitution.. But now you say the constitution was crap, so that's why it wasn't? Was it the 2004 constitution? Is that the one whose procedure indicates that to correctly eject your prez, fist torch some cops, violently take over government buildings all over the place, drive out the president and send him running for his life, then drive out the president's cabinet members so that they can't vote either, then have the parliament vote on whether or not to keep this president?

Well it's a Western Alliance including NATO countries, USA, UK, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Israel etc. which are giving weapons, training and cash to those very AQ "rebels" that took over the opposition, even though they carry out genocide against Christians and others, not to mention knocked over our towers. We found our guns in the hands of AQ Al nusra front, with the blood of women and children all over them, and the USA just made yet another weapons shipment to them.

Getting rid of any "bloodthirsty dictator" is not worth treason.

Although I do not believe this move was inspired by NATO--the people in eastern Ukraine (including Kiev) are not nearly so Russia-friendly as the people of Crimea (many of whom are of Russian ancestory) are--I would be very happy to take credit for this if it truly were the case.

It is my understanding that Viktor Yanukovych had acted unilaterally to diminish, greatly, the powers of the parliament--much as the late Hugo Chavez had done in Venezuela--so I celebrate the overthrow of this tyrant, who (mis)used the democratic system, itself, to try to destroy democracy in Ukraine.[/QUOTE]

Proof? Some of the ukrainian ships are blocked. That is not a friendly move but certainly not enough for occupation And according to the treaty Russia has the posssibility to guard its on shore buildings, which is done currrently regarding dangerous situation in Ukraine after coup. That's why I cannot say that there are no russian troops, but this is not nearly an occupation.

    Oops.

The presence of Russian troops is acknowledged by new Crimean leader Sergei Aksyenov.[56] The troops were subsequently identified, based on their battle dress and equipment, as belonging to the 45th Spetsnaz Regiment, which has previously been deployed to conflicts such as Georgia and Kyrgyzstan.[80]

Aksenov acknowledged Saturday that Russian troops were protecting key sites in Crimea.

“We have established cooperation with the Black Sea Fleet in protecting the important assets,” Aksenov said in televised remarks. “I am sure they can carry out tasks to protect public order.”

It's been a tenth time that I need to have breaking news that Crimea is populated with Russian majority. And that they have always had meetings (1991, 1993 etc) shouting that Crimea is Russia. So there is no wonder why Crimean soldier of self defence troops tells that he is russian and from Russia. And there is no wonder that he doesn't give his personal details to those who speak english.

But do you trust the video? I could use the information from the reporter to do some cross-checking with other pieces of news you trust to show the inevitable for any lies contradictions that cannot be explained the way I just did about the interview of a soldier.
