He has goon squads in his pocket too. He showed his hand early on Jan.6 and is paying the price for his incompetence.

Your reply fails to address any of my arguments, or questions-- which are absolutely applicable to the thread's subject. It is the topic itself, which you seem to not accept, and so, ironically, your response is the thing which is not relevant to this actual debate (and, btw, which is also misspelled).

Calling Trump a fascist sort of misses the mark because it assumes he actually has governmental goals. He doesn't. The purpose of his first term and a possible second term was and will always be to bring attention and adoration onto himself. That's it. It doesn't go any farther than that. The people, the government, the nation, none of that actually matters to him. What is interpreted as fascist behavior is really just immaturity and vindictiveness. It's a fine line to be sure, but my judgment comes from the fact that it is not his true intent to be a fascist because again, power is not actually his real end goal. Power is just the means for him to get what he truly wants and needs, which is your undying attention, love, and reverence. He's a man-child, who despite this life-long crippling lack of personal growth, has managed to accomplish quite a lot considering. But that doesn't matter, because he's still a dumpster fire and a danger to this country.

 

OK-- because your arguments are, on the whole, much more intelligent than mine... Keep dreaming, my inarticulate friend. And never lose that sense of humor. It will no doubt be helpful to someone who comes to a debate site, and bothers to post an "argument," only to say to the person you address, "like always, you probably don't have an argument."

Who knows, one day you may even get beyond this dipping of your toes in the water, and actually put forth a real argument, as to why I, or whoever you choose, doesn't have a valid point. Until then, keep that lightness of heart, as you make your laughably lame attempts at countering anyone's points-- such as by merely your saying, that the poster never has an argument, probably.

First of all, I guess my argument was not too simple, as you suggest, since you clearly did not comprehend it. The idea is that, on a site especially for political DEBATE, when one disagrees with another's opinion, the stating of a coherent reason for that disagreement (that is, an "argument") is generally expected. So, not having one is, itself, a failure.
Also, your merely telling me that I, "as always... probably don't have an argument," is as "facile" as a critique could be.

The bolded part, is your argument: the thing that supposedly backs up your assertion, that I probably don't have an argument. The problem with it-- that I will note, anyway-- is that it seems to presume that this whole thread, about Trump being Fascist, is mine-- which it is not. So the reason you give-- the thread's lack of responses-- doesn't really apply to my individual argument.

Therefore not only was your reasoning, a bust, but you apparently cannot even recognize an argument, when it is you, who is making it! (LOL). FYI, an absolute minimum criterion, for anyone who thinks themself worthy of critiquing others' arguments, I don't think I'm going out in a limb to say, is that the person at least be able to know an argument, when they see one-- and your multiple claims that you did not make any argument, demonstrates that you do not even know what an argument is.

If you derive no benefit from my pointing this out, that would be your own fault, and does not mean that my showing you the meaning of "argument," was not a constructive thing to explain.
