Israel comes under heavy rocket fire from Gaza, suspected terror infiltration

When I look at a nation, or people, I acknowledge that all humans are capable of racism to varying degrees. My interest is in the top 5-10% racist among them. In America, I'm not talking about every single person that would wave a Confederate flag, but narrowing it further to the few who want and seek actual violence in support of their racist views.

But racism isn't just in America; I've witnessed it everywhere I've went. Even in the Land of Smiles, on more than one occasion I heard some fairly vitriolic racism from a portion of people on both sides, in general conversation, between Thais and Lao.

Although I'm not knowledgeable on South African history, mainly because on the surface, I agreed that things were moving in the right direction down there. It did not appear to me that the most barbaric, racist elements of SA society were leading the resistance against the oppressor (like I've heard Ukrainian witness testimony on how the Maidan coups went from disorganized grassroots resistance to the extreme right leading the resistance within 2 months).

So in SA, A) The oppressed people were not led by the worst of them, B) during my lifetime, those oppressed in SA appear to be on a path that remedies their oppression, and C) the oppressor was not the target of a decades long, multinational effort to destabilize them that forced them into a security posture that contributed to the oppressed condition.

I have many different reasons for my varying views, or lack of them, between SA and Israel. Including those involving nuclear weapons which you seemingly dismiss as if I'm crazy for being concerned with someone acquiring a weapon which they could use to kill me at their discretion.

The Israelis cannot win this war by "wiping out" the Palestinians. They cannot just slaughter women and children, even if they cheered their attackers. I'm sure many people in the South cheered the Confederates; we didn't just ignore the value of their lives because of it, as we had to govern them after the war.

 

I know, because the scenarios that could even remotely result in that are not going to be permitted to develop.

But Bin Laden ran to caves; these guys are holed up in one of the densest cities in the world. They knew Israel would invade, and are ready. They want to fight now, at the location they have chosen in northern Gaza, in the tunnels along where they think the Israelis will come. Their plan is to put up such a fight, that many civilians will die. They have implemented a social media PR misinformation campaign to put as many civilian deaths on Israel as possible as the fight progresses. Hamas' only chance to win is if they can survive long enough for the world to force a ceasefire on Israel. This is their goal.

That's why I say do what the enemy doesn't expect. Don't fight them now, and force them to fight in the south. They expect you to come in fast and vengeful. So be slow and methodical, and just sit there, seal all of Gaza, contain, and prevent further attacks on your people. Establish one way out to the southeast, and over months, funnel civilians out. Make it a legitimate humanitarian effort to help them. Over the months, you will force Hamas out to attack your humanitarian operation, both proving who they are and defeating their PR campaign, AND fighting them over a time frame and location they didn't choose.

 

Israel's security failure is not as far fetched as that, which is why I knew Israel's enemies would immediately start pushing the balance against them. For example, I've heard reports that almost every single high tech sensor system along the northern border has been destroyed by Hezbollah in the last week.

 

Destroying border surveillance is by no means tantamount to gaining control of Israeli nukes. That is a stretch if you don't mind me saying.

Tbh, it's inevitable. It only has to be done humanely which Israelis aren't currently doing. Net and Yahoo is trying to achieve that goal too soon, by way of ethnic cleansing which will see the destruction of Israel. Perhaps the destruction of Israel is Net and Yahoo's hidden agenda. Most Americans have no clue how far to the right Israeli society has drifted over the past 30 years. Racist Jews on the West Bank will not accept a viable two-state solution, and they will never allow Arabs to populate a single state with Jews. Any attempt at resolving the current racial divide in Israel would lead to civil war.
