OK, I have not much time to be here at the moment. It is very apparent that a large proportion of 'Israel right or wrong' supporters hate Muslims. Equally there is plenty of evidence that a large proportion of Muslim's hate Jews. It is also true that extremists Muslims hate Jews through their interpretation of religion. However when we get to classical antisemitism, the sort of thing we will find in White Nationalists, it can be found that this is not so in Muslims until the work for the creation of Israel was under way. The Middle East has no history of classical antisemitism, that is making up stories or exaggerations of Jews into stereotypes..... but they found they had no problem in taking that on after they found European Jews were after Palestine.

So in regard to this thread as far as the middle East is concerned it is Israel which created hatred of Jews. There is no co-relationship between hatred of Jews in the Middle East and historical western antisemitism.

Mohammed was not against Jews. We have had programs done by the top scholars and this simply is not true.

In The Story of the Jews, Simon Schama made a point of saying that Jews had done well historically in the middle east, in particularly being involved in trade including overseas. In Egypt he said that although it was true when you look at old texts that Jews were dhimmi's with restrictions, historical evidence had been found in Egypt which clearly shows that in reality this was not the case. It was obvious that Jews could rise to the top of society. I think it was the end of the 19th C that legal equality came about but the evidence shows that throughout history they had enjoyed a much better position than people might think.

Come the arrival of Israel there were many many Jews who were Nationalists for their own countries as well as some who were zionists. It is unfortunate that all suffered and one way or another left or were forced from their homelands. This is one of the most unfortunate consequences of Zionism imo that countries in which Jews, Christians and Muslims's previously lived in harmony have lost virtually all their Jews. It has created instability in the middle east perhaps for ever.

Israel hence is the cause of Jew hatred among Middle Easter Muslims. Their hatred comes from a political source not any inherent hatred for Jews as can be found in Western Classical antisemitism.

So I have quoted Antony Lerman who is a Jew, an Israel/British citizen and an expert in antisemitism. He is very critical of Israel - so much so that he has said that it is Israel primarily which poses a threat to Western Jews nowadays. My second source is Simon Schama, also a Jew, a historian with strong integrity who has worked in the US and Britain and who has an Israel bias. Both have a different bias but both come to the same conclusion. Antisemitism was not what was experienced historically in the ME. The creation of Israel is what brought it.

Palestine was never <EVER> an independent country per se it has always been the patrimony of the Jews from time immemorial!!!!!!!!!!!! The return of the Jews to their ancestral <LAND> does not mean they were after it but rather to return to their roots.

Mohammad was not after the Jews is a laughable fable, an anecdotal semantic from your part.
Everyone knows that the decimation of 3 x Jewish tribes by Mohammad... Al-Nadhir, Qurayza and Khaybar put to the sword was because Mohammad was in love with the Jews according to you. This is the most ridiculous statement from your part.

There has always been a country of the Jews, there has always been Jews/Hebrews/ Israelites, there is a History of the Jews in hundreds of books, there are Archeological sites substantiating their existence, the tombs of the Mothers and Fathers of Israel are still Physically there and visited daily, there is an Ancient Hebrew Languages that is spoken by more that 15 Million people and you come with the notion that we have stolen someone else's land? The Stolen Land was done by others to us... and now you are reviving a nascent fiction in 1964 by Arafat/Abdel Nasser of a Palestinian Nationality?????? Come on, you do not make any sense here.

My answer to that is <BUNKO> I can find many people in authority that will speak evil of Islam or any other religions... what that means? Are you all there?

Nonsense; Britain's official religion is the Church of England. So, using your logic, if I am critical of my government then I'm also anti-Christian?
I personally couldn't care less what the religion of those running Israel is; it's their political actions which I detest and, simply because they are coincidentally Jewish, accusations of anti-Semitism are a very convenient excuse for pro-Israel apologists. Sorry, but you used up all your guilt credit years ago, and it doesn't work anymore.

    It's an incorrect sample.
First, I've spoken about external unfounded criticism. You are a british citizen and I suppose that you are aware about situation in Britain.
Second, I've spoken about anti-semitism, which is hate to jewish nation, and not about hate to a religion.
Yes, you don't care about religion. You just accidentally care very much about jewish country. It is nothing to do with criticism, but rather total blame, lie and incitement. Your "criticism" is concentrated exclusivly on Israel. All what is doing Israel is bad and all what do her enemies is good. This is double standard and is defined by EU and US as anti-semitism.

In addition to your correct outburst, this man/child had the temerity to insult Jews in general for the sake of his Muslim friends.
I personally think he is working on this board for this sole purpose... to bring Israel down in the eyes of the readers.

    In ADDITION...

Exclusive for those that prefer <TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS> over this (*)(*)(*)(*)ty little country (according to them) ISRAEL.

The Middle East has been growing date palms for centuries.

The average tree was about 18-20 feet tall and yielded about 38 pounds of dates a year.

Israeli date trees are now yielding 400 pounds/year and are short enough to be harvested

from the ground or a short ladder .

Israel, the 100th smallest country, with less than 1/1000th of the world's population,

    to safety in Israel.

When Golda Meir was elected Prime Minister of Israel in 1969, she became the only world's second elected

    female leader in modern times.

When the US Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya was bombed in 1998, Israeli rescue teams were on the scene within a day -

and saved three victims from the rubble.

small intestine from the inside, to diagnose cancer and digestive disorders .

Researchers in Israel developed a new device that directly helps the heart pump blood, an innovation with the potential

to save lives among those with heart failure. The new device, synchronized with the camera, helps doctors diagnose the

heart's mechanical operations through a sophisticated system of sensors.

Israel leads the world in the number of scientists and technicians in the workforce, with 145 per 10,000, as opposed to

85 in the US, over 70 in Japan, and fewer than 60 in Germany. With over 25% of its work force employed in technical

professions, Israel places first in this category as well.

A new acne treatment developed in Israel, the Clear Light device, produces a high-intensity, ultraviolet-light-free,

narrow-band blue light that causes acne bacteria to self-destruct -- all without damaging surrounding skin or tissue.

An Israeli company was the first to develop and install a large-scale solar-powered and fully functional electricity

generating plant, in southern California's Mojave desert.

All the above while engaged in regular wars with an implacable enemy that seeks its destruction, and an economy

continuously under strain by having to spend more per capita on its own protection than any other county on earth.

. . . AND THE FRENCH AMBASSADOR IN ENGLAND HAS THE CHUTZPAH TO SAY:

"ISRAEL IS NOTHING BUT A (*)(*)(*)(*)TY LITTLE COUNTRY".

The ignorance and public Jew-hatred of some 'world leaders' is astounding!

It remains a little (*)(*)(*)(*) country. The world and all economies keep on turning like they always did if it suddenly is gone.

Antisemitism has been around a long time before Israel and the inspiration for it's creation.

    You must have missed this part;

Have you any Palestinian, Egyptian or Syrian goods in your home? If so, what on earth are they?:roflol:
