Israeli military says Hamas hiding tunnels, operations centres in Gaza hospital

Israel claims Hamas has built their HQ's under Gaza City's main hospital. If this is not true why doesn't Hamas allow journalists access everywhere around the Hospital and under it? Of course Hamas denies it. Reporter Trey Yingst claims he was allowed to see the HQ in 2014. Hamas has been caught lying about another hospital being hit by Israel and killing a "whopping" 500 people but offered no real proof.

JERUSALEM, Oct 27 (Reuters) - The Israeli military accused the Islamist movement Hamas on Friday of using the main hospital in Gaza as a shield for its tunnels and operational centres.

"Hamas has turned hospitals into command and control centres and hideouts for Hamas terrorists and commanders," Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, Israel's chief military spokesman, told a news conference.

He showed photographs, diagrams and audio recordings he said showed how Hamas was using the hospital system and Al Shifa Hospital in particular to hide a variety of command posts and entry points into the extensive tunnel network under Gaza.

Using noncombatants as human shields is a war crime. This nullifies Israel's obligation to try to minimize civilian casualties.

 

One minute "you" say that Hamas are hiding in these tunnels, the next minute "you" say that Hamas are using Palestinians as human shields. Unless "you" are also saying that Palestinians are also hiding in these tunnels your claims are mutually exclusive.

The strategy that the IDF are using does not make sense. All they are doing is blowing up innocent Palestinians and their homes which in the process will encourage the family of these victims to join in the terrorism. The Hamas terrorists meanwhile are fully protected because they had time to plan. Netanyahu already knew this and does not care about innocent Palestinians or innocent Jews - we have already seen that tank fire was used to kill innocent Jews on the 7th -9th October

 

Using the basement of a hospital as a headquarters, is using civilians as human shields. It ain't rocket science.

Hardly any Hamas are being touched. They are safe in their tunnels with plenty of food and water. Meanwhile the innocent Palestinians are being killed and starved including in places that Israel told them to go. Over 1.4 million innocent Palestinians went South to starve and bombed.
