It’s been almost a year since I’ve worn a mask, how about you?

Or that they haven't just dropped off a passenger or are about to pick one up.

I don’t know how much smaller they are but I’m sure they are smaller. Nothing is as simple as comparing a fart lol. It was just an example that relates. These masks are not meant to stop even the size that this virus is. And everyone knows that some sort of face covering has to do something even if small. But the fact is they don’t stop this disease. They physically can’t.

I understand your position, and I'm not looking to attack those who have different opinions. I'm looking more from a logical or philosophical perspective. I truly do hope you all don't get caught up in this current wave.

If we follow the logic you mentioned on this, then when someone dies from Covid you all share responsibility for that death, right? I'm not attacking or anything like that, I'm just saying that means someone's death would be on you all as a society, as well as the lost income and closure of a business if that's how we look at it. How far are we willing to go when we as a society risk the health of others? Should society accept its responsibility and pay for the medical care and lost wages?

My daughter and I are fully vaccinated. My daughter did wear a mask at work, but some of the others did not. And I don't know how much effort was put into keeping hands and surfaces cleaned. One thing is that in this area, the number of cases has skyrocketed. A couple of weeks ago, we rarely saw anyone with a mask. Now, I'd say about 80-90% of the population is wearing them. I'm hoping this variant is not as bad as the previous one.

My sister had the Delta variant a few months back. She was one who refused the vaccine. We almost lost her. Her husband also had it, but only very mild symptoms. She spends a lot of time with our mother, and one big concern is the danger of spreading it. If my mother got as sick as my sister, she would not survive.

My oldest son and his wife both had Covid, neither were vaxed. Both said they were miserably sick but they got over it with no major problems. I thought they had been vaxed but no. My three siblings all were vaxed and all still got Covid. Near as I can tell it was much the same as with my son.

What bothers me is that each outbreak is blamed on people who refuse the vax but the actual infection seems to be less selective and just hits anyone. There is no preventative available and now we are promised milder cases that won't kill us, but of course that has always been the case with most of the infections.

Vaccinated people who get the virus still, from time to time, have serious cases and require hospitalization and some die. I looked for some stats on these cases and what I found was that the ones hardest hit who die are generally those with other serious health problems, just like it was when we were allowed to believe the vaccine was going to prevent getting Covid. It's just like that TV show motto, The Truth is Out There. Elusive as all getout though.

So sadly true. Lots of people have strong opinions about what works and what doesn't. But all any of us have at this point in time are opinions. The truth is out there, and in time we'll probably see it. It might be a long time though.

The virus is not expelled as single viruses as the lungs are a very humid environment. Water molecules are thousands of times smaller than the virus yet the mask still gets damp when breathing out. The virus will be contained in these water droplets. Any mask will reduce transmission

Which has what to do with wearing a mask again?

Which has what to do with wearing a mask again?

Ranting off topic is the clearest indication you can't dispute something. Did you want to start posting fake insurrection claims and Trump computers are all linked to Russia and Kavanaugh is an alcoholic high school serial rapist or the Covington Catholic kids are all white supremist?

Anything to run from the actual thread topic.

And just another indication that you are frothing at the mouth so bad and in such a hurry to copy and paste yet another fake resource, you don't even know what your posting. Get a grip dude. lol

Good for you!! Freeing yourself from COVID-bondage is indeed a good thing.

I am the same way. I haven't willingly worn a mask since the start of the plannedemic. I've worn one below my nose at work and below my nose for dentist/eye doctor visits. I've never stepped foot in a hospital (where they'd be hyper anal about one wearing a mask). I refuse to wear one to shop at a store.

In fact, most places are NOT mask Nazis. Most places don't even wish to require it (but are forced to by their local/state government). A sign on the door doesn't mean that a place actually wants to force that crap onto their customers (since the government requires them to put the sign up). I've never had an issue with not wearing a mask into a store. People need to just stop wearing the damn things into stores.

    Same here.

I am, and I'd like to see many more start doing so too. This **** needs to end. Yesterday. A year ago. Two years ago.

Masks do not stop one from "bringing a deadly disease home". They are nothing more than a symbol of submission.

    No... not at all.

So you are a follower instead of a leader... a sheep instead of a lion. Got it.

Yes, we had them here in Florida well into this year.

No, you don't get it. Google the definition of courtesy.

You think farting in an elevator makes you a leader, - A LION? Figures....

The "signage at the door" is most always not the actual business requiring it, but is rather the government forcing the business to "require" it.

Here in Wisconsin, Dane County is the only county that is being mask tyrants, and even there people can walk into stores without a mask just fine. People need to stop submitting to this crap and stop fearing what might happen to them if they don't wear one... Be a leader. Stop submitting to the tyrannical policies. Resist!

Yes, it does. It's too bad that so many people don't even have a grade school level understanding of science, in this case virology and immunology.

The same people also apparently don't understand basic mathematics and basic engineering specs.

pre-Covid research proves that mass-usage of masks can indeed lower the spread of a resperatory virus

Meh. I believe he travels. I travel too.

Why?? Masks don't stop/slow/prevent the spread of viruses. They have no benefit with regard to viruses.

... and there you expose yourself to a bunch of "potentially sick" people without your mask on... Does COVID know to stay out of restaurants??

This is how irrational people have become. "I need to wear a mask inside of a store, at church, and etc, so that I don't get sick, yet I'm perfectly fine taking it off at a restaurant". "At a restaurant, I am safe... At a store or at church, I am not safe".

    Weird.

... because of Democrat COVID-tyranny policies.

In Wisconsin, people are free if they don't have to go to Dane County for anything. But even in Dane County, outside of a doctors office or an airport, people largely don't have to bother with the damn things either (if people are like me and have an ounce of courage and don't mind being the only person [or one of the only people] in the store without one on).

Apparently you need to have a medical degree before you could possibly know how a 10 micron 3 cent paper mask can stop a 0.03 micron virus.

Water vapor and droplets are a little bigger than a virus.
