What reinforcements? People sneak though holes in the wall in the dark of the night, and there won't be anyone calling for reinforcements. There has never been as many deportations in one year as in 2021.

When we have a complete or mostly complete wall, we patrol the fence and repair the holes. While the illegals are creating new holes, we have plenty of time to detect them and stop them.

They can only deport those that they catch. The border patrol estimates that there are more "got aways" than ever before. Those "got aways" include drug mules.

You are the one who posted about how many homes are burgled showing that a locked door does not provide significant security. You even pasted that 75% of homes will be burgled in the year of 2035. You even posted the headline "ITS OFFICIAL: FRONT DOOR LOCKS ARE AN EXPENSIVE FAILURE"

Nor have there been as many illegal entries. Estimates of well in access of one million vs how many deportations a very few 10s of thousands?

Yes, and how are you saying that somehow is me arguing against my own post?

I lock my doors for good reason. Nothing in that argues against my own post. The "expensive failure" piece was clearly a tongue in cheek mocking of the OP. If that is your contention, that is just silly. If you did not realize that was sarcastic, now you do.

If you want to still contend that it argues against itself beyond the obvious tongue in cheek, then explain what I have said that argues against itself? If your assertion was solely about the tongue in cheek part, there is not much else to say because now your misconception is cleared up which renders that assertion as moot.

Your link states that the best security is CCTV,
Alarm or dogs not the walls or doors. And your link states that a quarter of home burglaries is through a window, locked or otherwise, not through a door. Your post about home security does not give support to building of a wall. It even states that 75% of homes will be burgled in the next 20 years and a house is much harder to burgle than going over a section in the middle of nowhere of a 2000 mile border wall

And this is supposed to be an example of me contradicting my post?

Door locks have a purpose because they cut down on burglary, but they are also far from infallible. You are going to ridiculous lengths to try and pick out other things than what was highlighted in my link to change the subject away from the original point.

I will give you the unlikely benefit of the doubt and acknowledge that maybe you honestly think that a link provided to support a specific point, somehow means that everything contained in that link is supposed to be a part of the point being proven, but in this case it most certainly is not. Now you know.

Now that you know, anything beyond your purported confusion about my intent, would then be nothing more than just mindless nitpicking that is purposefully trying to obscure the subject by going off on an irrelevant tangent, which is inarguably not a typical tactic of someone with an actual strong argument. Obfuscation is the domain of the deceitful, rather than that of those arguing a valid point.

My original point stands. Door locks are far from infallible, yet they still serve a useful purpose. As far as my link that was provided to prove that burglaries occur despite door locks....to whatever extent that you want to focus upon some irrelevant aspect contained therein, such as you saying they are suggesting that the best security is CCTV (who cares?), none of that changes or ameliorates the point that I successfully made.

Grow up yourself. Apparently the only way you believe you can win debates is by simply dismissing what the other person says. So, I dismiss everything you say. There, I won.

Over a million deportations according to CBP. Actually its over a million Title-42 expulsions alone (immediate deportations)
