    Big deflection on your part I am afraid :cynic: --- Post 67 has nothing to do with the Religious fundamentalist "attacking America" by forcing their religious belief on others through physical violence ...nor have you given your thoughts on Islamists taking over.

    Gave you examples --- Temperance movement - Prohibition - Gambling- Prostitution.. what part of forcing religious beliefs on others through physical violence did you not understand. That is what Law is .. don't you know ?

    "I Agree as far as the Islam" -- wherin resides the raging hypocrisy friend "Sharia Law" what does this mean ? and why do we dislike it so much

    Sharia = Based on Religious belief Law = "Physical violence" .. "The Heavy Hand of the State" if you wish an enlightened term.

    What is law.. ?? --- Gives authority to the State to use physical violence to enforce compliance and/or Punish violators of that law. ..

    THUS - if the law is made on the basis of Religious belief .. it is forcing that belief on others through physical violence - "Law" .. FULL STOP -- Political Science 101 .. if not the first the second day. LAW - BY DEFINITION -- Gives some authority the power to punish through physical violence -- which is what incarceration is .. in case you had not understood that if you try to escape from Jail they shoot you.

    and one more point of clarification along the way -- a distinction you may want to keep in mind .. is the difference between "Liberty" -- and "Essential Liberty" .. but regardless .. Extremists Fundamentalists are attacking this nation .. attacking the founding principle .. trying to implement the exact same thing -- same justification for Law - as the Islamist ..
