The nonsense of the the MSM attacking Trump with hundreds of sniviling meaningless attacks needs to stop. And yes I mean totally sniviling stupid attacks like the fact that Trump had two scoops of ice cream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trump needs to give the MSM something to report about to keep them busy.

Trump should immediately have the Justice Dept reopen the Fast and Furious gun running by the Obama admin. They should open a case against the IRS abusing conservatives. Open a real investigation on Benghazi and question Obama, Hillary and Rice under oath. And biggest of all investigate Hillary and her home brew computer, and how it allowed government secrets to be spread to anyone pretty much that wanted to read them.

IMO that would give the some real news to report on. Put the sniping democrats on the defensive for a change.

So you're looking for cover to hide Trump's involvement with the Russians?

First of all, most of this was investigated. A republican Congress that could not pass any serious legislation, had plenty of committee time on its hands for six years.

Second, no one becomes more interested in finding skeletons after these people leave office, especially the public. the investigators will fall asleep at their keyboards, and no one will notice when the siesta becomes a coma. People move on.

Third, MSM isn't obliged to report on your conspiracies and vendettas and they won't.

Hopefully--just a like a terminal, mentally-deranged, alcoholic--Trump will experience a "moment of clarity" that will allow him to form the mental capacity to resign.

    Fight back?

Oh - you mean dig himself into a hole even deeper as he has done with every "fight back" tweet and comment so far.

    Ok. Whatever.

Here.....try to stay focused. Also, note how this isn't about Trump. So drop the Demo patheticness and tunnelvision as to what the real problem is.

Inside Russia’s Social Media War on America.....

On March 2, a disturbing report hit the desks of U.S. counterintelligence officials in Washington. For months, American spy hunters had scrambled to uncover details of Russia's influence operation against the 2016 presidential election. In offices in both D.C. and suburban Virginia, they had created massive wall charts to track the different players in Russia's multipronged scheme. But the report in early March was something new.

It described how Russia had already moved on from the rudimentary email hacks against politicians it had used in 2016. Now the Russians were running a more sophisticated hack on Twitter. The report said the Russians had sent expertly tailored messages carrying malware to more than 10,000 Twitter users in the Defense Department. Depending on the interests of the targets, the messages offered links to stories on recent sporting events or the Oscars, which had taken place the previous weekend. When clicked, the links took users to a Russian-controlled server that downloaded a program allowing Moscow's hackers to take control of the victim's phone or computer--and Twitter account.

As they scrambled to contain the damage from the hack and regain control of any compromised devices, the spy hunters realized they faced a new kind of threat. In 2016, Russia had used thousands of covert human agents and robot computer programs to spread disinformation referencing the stolen campaign emails of Hillary Clinton, amplifying their effect. Now counterintelligence officials wondered: What chaos could Moscow unleash with thousands of Twitter handles that spoke in real time with the authority of the armed forces of the United States? At any given moment, perhaps during a natural disaster or a terrorist attack, Pentagon Twitter accounts might send out false information. As each tweet corroborated another, and covert Russian agents amplified the messages even further afield, the result could be panic and confusion.

For many Americans, Russian hacking remains a story about the 2016 election. But there is another story taking shape. Marrying a hundred years of expertise in influence operations to the new world of social media, Russia may finally have gained the ability it long sought but never fully achieved in the Cold War: to alter the course of events in the U.S. by manipulating public opinion. The vast openness and anonymity of social media has cleared a dangerous new route for antidemocratic forces. "Using these technologies, it is possible to undermine democratic government, and it's becoming easier every day," says Rand Waltzman of the Rand Corp., who ran a major Pentagon research program to understand the propaganda threats posed by social media technology.

Current and former officials at the FBI, at the CIA and in Congress now believe the 2016 Russian operation was just the most visible battle in an ongoing information war against global democracy. And they've become more vocal about their concern. "If there has ever been a clarion call for vigilance and action against a threat to the very foundation of our democratic political system, this episode is it," former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper testified before Congress on May 8......snip~

No he meant fight back. Like when a Demo or Cult members becomes unhinged and gets painted out as such. Now I know that is difficult for you to filter thru. But its just one of many ways of putting a mental check on those that have gotten lost outside of reality.

You mean the media that points out Trumps own lies and flip flops, quotes his tweets, publishes leaks from his own White House, that media? Trump is in control of all those things. He has the House; he has the Senate; he needs to stop being a victim and get on with governing.

Super interesting! Thank you for the link.

Doesn't really change the fact that Russian intervention needs to be understood and Trump's alleged ties to Russia need to be understood. If the Russians have far more influence than the FBI and CIA thought, then you have to follow the story where it leads. At best Trump's behavior with regard to Russia is really really unusual. At best. The array of behavior and people cannot be explained away easily. His combination of antagonization, missteps, history, connections, and decision-making demand that he ends up under the microscope. This is the price of electing a person who fundamentally does not understand the job. Trump has made his own bed. For once :)

I'll concede that the left is guilty of thrashing every potential story directly into conspiracy theory territory. They are absolutely lost. No leadership. No message. No credibility. They are shattered. Does not change the fact that Trump is in deep **** of his own making.

It is obvious that the Russian hoax is covering up something that the Democrats are very scared about.

Hopefully, Crowdstrike will provide an unmitigated terminus for a new path that Mueller can explore.

I agree, Trump should fight back.

He should fire McCabe, fire Mueller, fire everyone at the FBI who is not loyal to him.

he should arrest all reporters who insult him.

he should indict Hillary, Obama, Biden, etc.

Why do you want to regurgitate your failures of the past to hide the your beloved "god-emperor's" current egregious failures?

Do you imagine that the FBI will find something else on the server?

Is there something else about Benghazi that was missed the first 50 times the GOP dead that dead horse?

Trump is CURRENT NEWS and everything that is happening is SELF INFLICTED!

Stop looking for distractions and deal with the REALITY that he is a complete and utter FAILURE as potus.

Actually, what they're doing is painful in the short term, but in the long term view they're only harming themselves.

The more hysterical they get, and the less they actually do their jobs chasing imaginary Russians, the more people wake up to what is really going on, and what the Democrats are really doing.

The demanded a special investigator, and they got one. I don't think it's going to pan out for them the way they hoped though.

Its funny that when there is an investigation into a democrat you will assume hes guilty often when years of investigation have come up with nothing. Yet when a republican is investigated you assume its all "sniviling meaningless attacks." You are such a partisan hack.

While we are at it shouldn't we also be investigating Trump's conflicts of interest, sexual harassment history, Russia's influence on the elections, the Trump administration's ties to Russia, whether Trump's firing of the man who was investigating him was obstruction of justice, and was it appropriate to give out secrets to Russia who is also a friend to Iran and China? Another scandal to top it all off. Trump reached a 100 billion arm deal with Saudi Arabia a country that has a history of using those weapons on the Yemenese people who resist their regime.
