Unfortunately, I think you're right. I think the Jets are gonna win. I just get that feeling, but I hope we're wrong.

Short turn around after getting destroyed by the Pats?

Id be surprised if the Jets didnt underestimate tebow and look sloppy.

The Jet O line looked horrid allowing old man Carter to have field day.

If the Broncos can muster a decent pass rush theyve got a good chance to win.

Ona side note - Sanchez is going backwards IMO.

we will never know what goes on behind closed doors. Sanchez has a blowhard

of a coach who sets expectations very high vs just producing and then discussing the results. Sanchez is probably under a lot of pressure to try and help blowhard look good.

    Wow..even better on TV.

Good for him. The question is how many games does he need to win before folks outside Denver stop hatin on him?

How much more can these annoucers try to make Sanchex look like something he's not and most likely will never be. Stat os the night...Sanchez best winning % Jet QB EVER...after 40 games.

They win despite him...just not lately.

I stand by my original assessment, see how he does next year after everyone has the opportunity to see his NFL tape. While Denver won, Tebow was 9/20 for 104 yds in the air, that is not impressive. If he can't throw he simply won't last long in the league.

I got home in time to catch the pre-game on the NFL network. The talking heads all stated how the Jets would win.

I went out and got home in time to catch the final quarter. I stuck around to see the talking heads have to interview Tebow after the game.

I could not believe that they mentioned on live tv that they were surprised that Tebow can actually read defenses and knows football?

Have they had their heads up their butt all these years when Urban would talk about Tebow when he was in FL?

Have they not spoken w/Tebow before?

Whatever the reason, the Broncos are starting to believe in themselves and that can be deadly for their opponents.

"Winning has never been more confusing!" - Bronco radio announcer Brian Griese, immediately after the Denver/Jets game. IF Tim Tebow ever gets his accuracy issue figured out, granted a huge if, & gets a little more talent around him, especially a security blanket/tight end, the guy just may win a Super Bowl. I know I wouldn't bet against the guy.

I watched that interview. For 10 minutes the NFL Network anchors insulted the kid. Most pathetic interview I have ever seen.

Say what you will, Orton was throwing for 200+ yards/game and couldn't win.

Tebow is throwing for 100 yards/game and is winning.

At the end of the day it's who can get the "W"! Tebow is that guy.

1 game out of 1st place. Not the best division in the NFL, but someone is going to the playoffs.

Why is Tim so hated? Is it his work ethic? It is the way he has tried to change the way he has always thrown the ball to fit the "NFL standard"? Or is it his openess to his Christianity? Cam Newton is also a Christian, but not as out spoken as Tim has always been, and Cam doesn't even win. So why all the hate and mocking of the QB that has turned the Broncos around?

Do you want Marino with an ego problem and no Superbowl wins? Or Trent Dilffer who passes the glory to teammates and wins a Superbowl?

It is what Tebow stands for. They hate him b/c he is a homeschooled Christian, who should have been aborted but his mom is pro-life so she didn't abort him.

This is why they hate him.

You never hear anyone complain about a black dude who scores a TD and gets on 1 knee and says a quick prayer but if Tebow does it, it's criticized.

Always remember, A man that practices what he preaches, who lives his faith is a threat to people. No justification for being threatened.

    Tough call isn't it?

Marino's skill set is looked at as better then Dilfer's, but who walked away with a ring??

Marino's skill of not allowing anyone on the team to take the spot light from him did him in. Only the first year of Marino did they get to the playoffs, and that was because he hadn't had the time to destroy the team. Imagine what Miami could have done if Marino let Sanders get signed.

In all fairness, Dilfers defense (2000 Ravens) was one of the greatest defenses in the history of the NFL. They only gave up like 5 rushing TDs all year.

    True.

But you still got to put up more points then the other team.

Dilfer's will never be considered a "great QB" but he did manage the game well enough to win it and that is all ya need.

The Ravens just needed a QB that limited big mistakes like turnovers on that team. They had the greatest run defense in the history of the NFL and a pretty good run game with a good O line and 2 good backs in Lewis and Holmes. 20 different QBs that year could have won a ring with that team around them. If Marino would have had that team around him they probably would have lost at most 1 game.

For the life of me I can't figure it out.

Is it the ego of the talking heads? Sure maybe Tebow's mechanics aren't EXACTLY like other NFL quarterbacks but so what? Not all receivers or running backs are the same.

Are they upset that the Broncos are winning (5-1) with Tebow when they said that Tebow could not play in the NFL? They appear ready to pounce on any mistake the kid makes. (btw, Rivers completion % was lower than Tebows but that wasn't mentioned)

Or, is it that he's open about his christianity?

I think it's like what I said above. People feel threatened by folks who live their faith. Tebow, is a symbol for people who hate homeschooling, pro-life, successful people.

Even when he speaks about his faith, it's nothing insulting or threatening.

Tim Tebow and his family aren't the cookie cutter societal "accepted norm". That threatens people. Did you see what that dumb ass ex-Broncos QB said about him? Even Elway doesn't care for him. They hate him b/c of who he is, there is nothing else to it.
