iCan give you another source for african Portuguese jews from the Portuguese archives, a primary source from the 15th century written by the royal courts, that detail how Portuguese Jews in central Africa were rounded up, shackled and taken to elmina castle (surely you've heard of elmina castle) and sold to white slavers, then shipped to the Americas.
