Robert, I was talking about Burke's casual, nonchalant behavior when he was interviewed shortly after his sister was killed. Normal 9 yr olds do feel emotions, sorrow, pain, a great loss when they lose a family member/friend whom they loved.....or even just cared about. This kid showed NOTHING. It was like he was dead inside. That's not normal!

My 3 kids bawled their eyes out when their DOG died! That's normal.

There was evidence that the 3 mag flashlight had been wiped clean, even the 3 batteries INSIDE IT.....why are you overlooking the demonstration of the flashlight used by the 10 yr old boy? And that boy didn't need the strength of Hulk to bash in the replica of head causing a fatal blow.......m/b you're watching something different?

Yeah, right! The killer intruder showed up w/duct tape, did his evil job, then sat down in the Ramsey house, got comfy and wrote out a 2.5 page rambling 'ransom' note that took him around a 1/2 hr to write, at least, w/no worries that someone would catch him. Then walked out, taking his duct tape w/him.......brilliant.

Look, that is not proof. It is anecdotal is all.

CBS put the blame on the boy. That is why hummingbird is running with that theory.

Everything you've said is anecdotal as well. Lol.

I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that it could be the boy. They totally botched the "fake abduction" scenario though. That much is clear to everyone, I think.

I can't deal with point by point when it does no good.

(sigh) I will now still deal with point by point.

I do not call a kid a killer over some interview. I think that was much much later on anyway.
When my mom died, and later on my dad, I must have looked cool too. I was in utter shock. I was so surprised. I was next to speechless.

When a murder happens, you don't convict because you do not approve the attitude.

A lot of kids would have been bawling. But for what? Would his sister come back? I think Burke was in shock.

I felt so terrible that my parents dying did not cause a torrent of tears. I miss both today something terrible. Mom died in 1980 and dad in 1995. Seldom a day passes that I don't miss them a lot. And they lived almost 6 hours away from me.

When the best criminal tries to clean a flashlight, they can't get all trace evidence off. And the hole in her skull looks as if something like a golf club did it and not a flashlight. CBS only used one angle. They missed the boat.

Cops used that note perfectly content the language would match the mom. But they did not match it. Now you got ChrisL telling us the mom did it.

The skull injury shown on CBS was not correct. The correct injury i posted today. It is oval shaped and includes a major crack in her skull. I don't think you saw the correct skull yet.

You think it is clear to me?

Tell you this, 12 people on a jury would do what I am doing. I am simply acting like a jury is there presuming innocence.

The CBS program did not persuade me. And it should not have persuaded you either.

I think you understand exculpatory evidence.

Absolutely.....kids younger than 9 have strength to do serious damage to a smaller defenseless victim. Then there's the kids in that age bracket who torture defenseless animals. They're sociopaths.

Someone previously pointed out that the family owned a large sailboat and sailed. Likely, any little boy would have delighted in learning how to tie knots having to do with sailing. I know absolutely nothing about knots so I don't know if the garrote knot was simple or detailed. Somewhere, I read it was simply cord wrapped about the paint brush handle and wasn't even knotted.

I just went over the 9 page Autopsy report and it does not make such statements.

Let me correct you here... it was watching Burke on Dr. Phil where I saw a red flag. It started there, then watching the CBS special where the Ramseys behavior and the evidence the specialists had was connected convinced me even more.........

No way in hell would parents who wanted their kidnapped daughter back safe and knew nothing about what had happened would act like they did. Red flags were shooting up all over the place. If your child is kidnapped, GONE! And you, the parent, is truly innocent of the situation and you want her back, you will FULLY cooperate w/LE, FBI, whoever! You wouldn't hesitate for one second b/c your child's life is in danger! He had threatened to behead her....remember that? If Patsy called the cops, he would behead her..... well, I'll be damned! Patsy had done it anyway.....another red flag.

If a well-known forensic pathologist who was part of the team investigating the JFK assassination wanted to help you by examining your home, the crime scene, you would appreciate his knowledge, his expertise and welcome him w/open arms! The Ramseys flatly refused his help......now if that isn't a huge red flag, then what is it?

If one of my kids acted like John or Patsy, it would absolutely KILL me, but I would have to pull my head out of the sand and face the ugly facts that they're not being truthful, that they were hiding something.....

I can imagine the godawful pain the parents of Casey Anthony went thru. They had to have known shortly after the investigation of missing Caylee started that Casey knew more than she was telling.....

Casey may write a book some day like the Ramseys did, telling her version of what happened....why not? It worked for the Ramseys.

You are not privy to ALL of the information. Lol.

He probably thinks Casey Anthony is innocent too. Lol.

As I recall, John disappeared completely from the scene for about an hour and a half. He probably took the practice note, the tape, and whatever else to a neighbors trash can filled with Christmas wrapping and gift box type trash. And before someone jumps in and mentions "no footprints", remember, there was very little snow, and what little frost might have been there early on had evaporated. Not to mention I never heard a single word about canvassing the neighborhood looking in trash or any of that kind of thing.

The house had something like 9 outside doors. The entire time they thought it was a kidnapping, did anyone wake the neighbors?

Very sloppy police work done by a minimal holiday crew.

    Can we focus please?

Try to focus on the duct tape. I presented quite a bit of information on that.

If the glove own't fit, you can't convict. Same with duct tape.

Turns out it was a special type too that the FBI identified.

I remind all you Ramsey convicts, had those professionals at the scene agreed with you, Patsy would have died in prison and her husband would be locked up as would the son.

It seems to me you guys want the Ramseys to take the fall.

I am a contrarian. This helped me solve cases at the real estate board where I as a member of a committee held hearings of guilt or innocence. When we found one guilty, I had managed to see to it the proper questions got asked.

Totally. The police really messed up the crime scene. Any one of us could have probably done a better job at securing the crime scene and evidence.

I swear, I wish I saw signs of a poster who might make a good person on a jury.

I have articulated in the past I believe in professional juries.

But on CBS, that is not what I am talking of.

Why say you believe in innocence until proven guilty if your heart is not telling you that?

Anyone who knows about murder investigations that involve a child knows that they first MUST rule out the family as suspects. They are the closest to the child and most often when a child is murdered, it is done by a family member. Sad but true.

Anyone whose child was murdered would cooperate FULLY with investigators because they would want themselves to be cleared, so that the investigation can continue. The more time it takes to clear the family, the longer the case is at a standstill. This family hindered the investigation and were completely uncooperative.

OK, you don't mind posting incorrect statements. Did you want me to tell you that you are incorrect?

You admit you don't know knots. That knot is a named knot. I saw the name of it days ago. But it is not even a cub scout knot

It was very securely tied to the paint brush handle. This was 4.5 inches long. Frankly it was at one end of the cord with the neck tied up at the other end of the same cord. It is called a garotte yet is not set up like that. It looks more like something one used as a leash. .

The photo of it tied onto her neck gave the appearance the hands doing it had very powerful grip. The autopsy report says the cord was cutting deeply into her neck. No kid could pull that off.

We are not on the jury, for the LAST time. We are on a message board, speculating and giving our opinions on the matter. After watching several shows about this case, I feel that the family is involved in the murder. There are multiple things that point in that direction.

    - - - Updated - - -

Stop acting as if you have some kind of inside information about this case. It's getting tiresome. If you can't handle other people speculating, then you should probably avoid this thread.

Frankly, I believe they did cooperate.

If you mean they did not sit still to have a noose tied around their necks, sure, i agree.

    - - - Updated - - -

Wait, I have not yet acted against you as you act against me. If the heat is too hot in the kitchen, don't tell me to leave it.

    - - - Updated - - -

Well, it does no good to blame parents over the job cops did not do well.

Yeah, sometimes I get those 2 turned around. IIRC, psychopaths are prone to violence and sociopaths aren't, but just as dangerous and come across as very likeable, charming people, but neither have a conscience....

You are obviously of the opinion that the parents are some kind of victims in all of this. I am not of that opinion. I think the family had something to do with this murder, and MOST of the evidence points to that, especially given their poor attempts at mimicking an intruder.

So . . . who wrote the ransom note while still INSIDE the home? Where was Jonbenet during this at least 20-minute event?

Who broke the window from the INSIDE, trying to make it appear as if someone broke in?

Why did the little child's body lay in the basement undiscovered for 8 hours? Would you not tear your home apart trying to find that child?

    - - - Updated - - -

My child is missing but . . . I didn't bother checking the WHOLE house for her. Oh there was an intruder, but he broke in from the inside.

Kidnappers ALWAYS hang out for like an hour or so inside the home of their victims while the parents are sleeping in the same house. Good Lord! :blankstare:
