lol. For someone who gets his info off a website called websleuths, well...

As for conviction, the Grand Jury wanted to go to trial. Only Alex Hunter and Smit didn't. The so-called professionals at the scene, starting with Linda Arndt, DID want the Ramseys to go to trial.

Psssssssssttttttttttttttttt: I've been on jury duty many times. Six or seven...it's been so long ago I honestly don't remember. Everything from civil to murder. I was once selected as the Foreman. I took it very seriously and did a very good job.

Just a little FYI: This is a forum. It is nothing even remotely like a jury. Not even a smidgen of a whit.

    /now you know.

If the cops could prove a family member wrote the note, that would have sealed the case.

OKay, you plan to badger me with questions. So I will do the same thing to you.

JonBenet was dead in the basement. If you recall, she was found there.
Frankly, I am not persuaded the broken window has any connection.
I agree that they should have investigated that room as well. I saw just a representation of it on CBS where they tried to convict one of the family. Can't tell you for sure which one.

My question is why is the duct tape not evidence? Where is the roll?
Why did the Cops search poorly so that the child lay there 8 more hours till it was finally found?

Last, if it is as you claim, why did the pros fail to make a case?

    - - - Updated - - -

OK, a few want to blabber that a family member did it.

    Just idle chit chat.

    I took this more serious.

What are the flaws in websleuths?

OK, the grand jury are not lawyers. Hunter the prosecutor is.

Where do you get your misinformation?

Were this to go to trial, even I who is not ever served on a criminal jury see holes I drive trucks through. And it annoys one poster all to hell and back. :frown:

What utterly cracks me up is that i am on the winning side, not the losing side.

That place crawled with all kinds of legal people trying very hard to jail the Ramseys.

But guess what, they crapped out. Failed to do it. Now I am supposed to rectify it for them?

There ya go! Another red flag......the Ramseys had done so many questionable things, I'd forgotten some. After the cops arrived, John disappears for 1.5 hrs. Wonder what was so important that he just had to leave instead of talking to the cops? And come to think of it, hang around to support/comfort his wife who was so terrified and falling apart about their 'kidnapped' child?

The neighbors didn't have to be woken up - they were already in the Ramsey house, by invite b/f the cops arrived and the cops arrived 7 minutes after the 9/11 call. Wow! The Ramseys scrambled fast to fill up their house w/people to contaminate the crime scene.....

They're not stupid. They knew exactly what they were doing.

Holy cow....I can't believe this. This is mind-blowing!

First of all, Robert, we ALL have had parents/loved ones who died by natural causes!....or horrible accidents, terminal illnesses. Here, we're talking about the MURDER of a 6 yr old girl. Big difference!

And it's not that I didn't 'approve' of Burke's attitude when he was interviewed 20 yrs ago. I simply explained I saw a 9 yr old kid who was very casual and unemotional over his sister's murder. No sorrow, no grief......nothing! Not even confusion, which is very normal, natural for kids who lose someone thru murder. They have questions, they want to know "WHY?" - that's human nature for them, but Burke.

Then 20 yrs later he's on the Phil show w/a smile/smirk on his face thru out the 3 hr interview, while his murdered sister is discussed.
Yeah, he gave me bad vibes.........

Well, I would think it would not be a very difficult job to remove all evidence from a flashlight and in this case, even the 3 batteries, which begs the question - why clean fingerprints off the batteries? Trying to hide something?

And I don't got Chrisl telling us anything. She's an adult and she's speaking her own, well tho't out opinions w/o any help from me.

And I'm just going to let your last statement go. You've made up your mind that you're right and CBS experts are wrong, so .....whatever.

Actually this is how I word my stand.

I have the DA and cops right at Boulder, CO being backed up by me.

I don't care what CBS says since it was clear from the opening that they had made up their minds.

I did not see Dr. Phil and doubt I will. It looks subjective on your end. I am simply willing to look at facts.

Questions to me are not facts. If feel as if I am asked to explain what others do that I do not know at all. My opinions are very well thought out. Even if the other side favors CBS and Dr. Phil while I favor law and order.

I wish more posters understood I want this solved. But the right way, not by some making money off a TV program.

If you people are so smart, why aren't the cops and DA in that city equally smart?

Here, send him your findings and tell him to get going.

Well Robert, kudos to you for being on a real estate board and asking questions to solve.....whatever. Really don't know what this is about or what it has to do w/the Ramseys....

I'm not focusing on the duct tape. I'm focusing on the questionable behavior of the Ramseys and their mentally disturbed son and what the CBS special had revealed about them....

Look, we all have our own opinions/tho'ts about everything, even crimes like this. For myself, I have always watched and listened to the people involved and that can speak volumes about the truth and not the truth, which the Ramsey sure proved.....

Everything they did and said spoke of, probably not involvement in the crime, but the fact that they KNEW that their child was not kidnapped, but dead in their basement. And the reason for that hoax was to protect the killer, whom I believe was Burke.....

Thank you. It was years ago but all my experiences are valuable to me.
So, you dismiss duct tape to focus on behavior?

How does it feel for you to take the opposite point of view as does the Boulder, CO law and for me to side with them and not posters who really don't get it yet?

I suggest you hook up to Boulder DA office and just inform they really need you on the case.

    I posted their web site.

Hope not. He & I had always gotten along b/f.....until now.

You a mom? If so, you would know what I mean about kids & behavior, including their body language.

Watching 9 yr old Burke's casual, ho-hum attitude about his sister being murdered quite disturbing. That is not normal. 20 yrs later, the smile/smirk never left his face while discussing her death......

I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a child has to be one of the most painful heartaches.

I was 8 when a little sister died from illness. I still remember how I ached inside and couldn't stop crying.....

Thanks, I appreciate your kind comments, but not much choice on my part. I just live. Anyways, I know for a fact if my child was murdered, I would be giving the police every bit of information I had. I would probably be out hunting the person on my own. I would want justice for my child and not give myself a second thought!

That's another reason why I am suspicious of this family. When your child dies, you don't care about ANYTHING else. Nothing else matters. These people seemed most concerned with self preservation!

You sure got that right. And during it all, it was all about their image, their status, they called the shots, everything was about them and what they wanted....and they got their own way.

I think the brother accidentally killed her and the parents covered it up.
