    Count me amongst the unconvinced because such a strict lockdown in my area of the United States was unnecessary and would have done even more damage than we've experienced where the "cure" has been far worse than the disease.

    I've said this from Day One and the message is still in my avatar for a reason: People need to respond to this in a calm, rational and flexible manner. Whether you think this is a emergency or not it's no time to lose our minds.

    I'm glad that things worked out for Jordan, but what works in Jordan won't necessarily work anywhere else, which is why I reject the premise of a model for managing this situation.

    You understand that the virus is the same all over the world, yes? It doesn't care about preferences or geography, it only seeks warm bodies.

    You seem to think the virus will adapt to different locations. That it will somehow see that you don't want to close your meatworks or wear masks, and mutate to accommodate that preference.
