As I have asked for months show me the crime here especially he phone call and when the anti-Trumpers couldn't the heed ans hawed and said just you wait til it goes to trial. Well amongst the charges being dropped are the ones concerning the phone call. And this is not an endorseent of or a guilty verdict on the other stretch the law to it's limit charges. Hopefully this get rich scheme DA and SP will get kicked off and an entirely new team brought in and they can refuse to persecute any further.

Judge in Georgia election interference case quashes some charges against Trump

The judge overseeing the Georgia election interference case against former President Donald Trump and his allies has thrown out six criminal counts from the indictment.

Trump now faces 10 felony charges in Georgia, instead of 13....

..."The Court's concern is less that the State has failed to allege sufficient conduct of the Defendants – in fact it has alleged an abundance. However, the lack of detail concerning an essential legal element is, in the undersigned's opinion, fatal."

...McAfee quashed counts 2, 5, 6, 23, 28 and 38 — all of which focus on alleged efforts by the defendants to solicit public officials, including the Georgia secretary of state and members of the Georgia House and Senate, to violate their oaths of office...

Don’t worry, this will all be forgotten if trumps convicted. Won’t keep the judge out from under the trump bus.

Oh don't worry the good people of Georgia is going to exonerate Trump, the believe in the law. This isn't New York where it's hyper partisan lefty circle jerk world. Rico was never going to fly in this case and Fannie f'd up charging other for dumb charges and now her misconduct is about to get her kicked off the case very soon. I'm sure the next DA will see it like the DOJ does and won't file charges.

And don’t worry, the prosecutor has leave to re present a more specific indictment on those 3 charges.

The phone call was the heart of the case. Without it, there is no case

Why didn't the prosecution do that, to begin with?

Are they too stupid, or is there no evidence?

No specificity of charges for the defense to prepare their case. Rookies.

Most of the prosecution team is black, if not all. It's no surprise they ****ed it up.

    False.

After the phone call, Trump organized a scheme to replace Georgia electors with fake certificates.

Kenneth Chesebro was the main executor along with a few other accomplices.

That's why Trump is facing Racketeering charges under the RICO Act.

He has pleaded guilty and will testify against Trump at trial.

If you'd read the Indictment, you'd know.

I don’t know, let’s see how the trial unfolds and how many felony convictions the jury returns.

    This is absolutely NOT true.

More than that, the judge stated that the problem with the phone call is that the charge doesn't state the EXACT crime being demanded.

If you listen to the phone call, Trump demanded that votes be found. But, there is clear evidence that Trump was attempting to subvert democracy. It's like a mob boss ordering someone to assure an individual is never to be found.

There is a lot for the prosecution to work with here.

If prosecutors tighten that up, the judge stated that the phone call charge can be added back in.

First things first, Trump isn't being charged under "the RICO Act", because the RICO Act is Federal.

Second, the phone call was the entire case. The case revolved around it.

This is case is all smoke and mirrors. IOW, not putting in the work.
The prosecutors think they can throw pixie dust up in the air and when it lands there is a guilty plea under it.

The judge said, if the prosecution can give specifics to how a crime was committed, there can be a new indictment.
