    That's funny considering you cited Luttig and Tribe. The whole point of an officer is that they're a leadership position under the primary position. That's what an officer is, a subordinate. Thus, not the President! It's a leadership position that reports to the President.

    This has been said in SCOTUS decisions a bazillion times. Anyone who claims otherwise is going against judicial precedent and common sense.

    Were the USSC to have believed that, it would have been a trivial case. But, they did not agree with you.

    Instead, they came up with a totally bogus excuse.

    I agree that the amendment got it wrong. We can't have states independently evaluating who can be on the ballot based on assessments of their behavior - even if it is clearly insurrection.

    Trump needs to be rejected as a statement by the people that we believe in democracy and the rule of law.
