Thats the only source that Ive seen that actually said he was a republican, the source from the wiki article not the actual article. He was a registered republican but considered apolitical by people that know him.

I think you miss my point. The FBI for decades is well known to have leadership that would love to usurp our Constitutional process. That's specifically why I mentioned Hoover.

    this just in:

Jailed Russian hacker: I hacked Democrats 'under the command' of Russian intelligence agents

    http://www.businessinsider.com/russian-hacker-democrats-dnc-intelligence-2017-12

The hacker, Konstantin Kozlovsky, told a Moscow court in August of this year that his nine-member hacking group — which has been accused of stealing over $17 million from Russia's largest financial institutions since 2013 — has been cooperating with the FSB for several years, according to the independent Russian news outlet The Bell. Part of that cooperation included hacking the DNC, he said.

Kozlovsky said during a hearing on August 15 that he "performed various tasks under the supervision of FSB officers," including a DNC hack and cyberattacks on "very serious military enterprises of the United States and other organizations."

Minutes from the hearing, as well as an audio recording, were posted on Kozlovsky's Facebook page. The Bell said it confirmed their authenticity with two sources, including a person who was present at the hearing. Kozlovsky also posted a letter that he wrote on November 1, 2016. The letter outlined what he said was his work for the FSB, which he said had spanned nearly a decade and, most recently, involved attacking the DNC servers.

Kozlovsky identified his FSB handler as Dmitry Dokuchaev, a cybersecurity expert who worked as a hacker under the alias "Forb" before joining the FSB. Dokuchaev has been linked to a group of hackers known as Shaltai Boltai, or Humpty Dumpty, that has published emails from Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and other Kremlin officials.

First of all, your source is Gateway Pundit, which has a long history of pushing fake stories on this issue (and many others as well).

Second, the case was well made without this particular cla

This does not change the fact that Flynn lied to the FBI, failed to report that he was a paid agent of a foreign government even as he was National Security Advisor (and hid the fact), that Kushner tried not once, but twice, to set up a back channel of communications between the TRump transistion team and Russian intelligence, that Manafort offered Russians close to Putin insider briefings on the ongoing activities of the Trump campaign, that officials with connections to Putin set up a meeting with Donald Trump Jr on the pretense of trying to shop dirt on Clinton, and that the entire leadership of the Trump campaign took the meeting, that e-mail exists that confirm that the entire Trump team (including Mike Pense) was read in on almost all of this, that all of these people repeatedly lied about these activtites and tried to cover them up.

All of this is documented via either written record or direct testimony.

I am no referring to stories in blogs. I am referring to e-mails obtained by or turned over to investigations, the long history of admissions of such contacts by people like Flynn, Carter Page, Manafort, Jared Kushner.

It's pretty obvious that Hope Hicks said something that raised the collective eyebrow in her closed door testimony last week.

The right wing noise machine ratcheted up their volume almost immediately thereafter.

Actually, the Source is Politico, but Gateway Pundit reported that Judge Moore's accuser was using a forged Facebook entry, very nearly, immediately after Lying Gloria Allred introduced it as evidence to support her accusations.

You don't like your fake news because you think it is telling you the truth, but because they share your delusion.

    POLITICO reports:

In an account provided to Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) in June — but made public only last week — the whistleblower said Alex Copson, a top official at ACU Strategic Partners, bragged on Inauguration Day about his relationship with Flynn, at one point flipping around his phone to reveal the text about the deal to build nuclear plants across the Middle East.

The whistleblower also said Copson said sanctions against Russia would be “ripped up” to make room for the deal.

But in a letter to Cummings dated Friday, Thomas Cochran, a top ACU official, said the whistleblower’s account was inaccurate, attaching AT&T phone records that he said show Copson did not get a text from Flynn that day. […]

He said that text was from a friend who attended the same function where the whistleblower claimed to witness Copson’s boasting.

“The only text message Mr. Copson received on Inauguration Day came at 1:49 p.m.,” Cochran wrote.

“Since Mr. Copson did not receive a text message from General Flynn during the Inauguration, other allegations of the ‘whistleblower’ are equally false and unfounded,” wrote Cochran added.

The news comes amid reports that another whistleblower told Rep Ron DeSantis (R-FL) that he witnessed a senior FBI executive suggest the Bureau had a personal motive behind targeting Flynn with the purpose of ruining his career.

which is exactly why he is the best for this job

if republicans had picked a partisan, and he found nothing, no one would of believed it, the goal was to find the truth, which is what Mueller will do

May need another Special Counsel to sort this out:

According to Fox News reporter Jake Gibson, Attorney General Jeff Sessions has called on a senior Justice Department attorney to look into appointing a special counsel to investigate recently demoted official Bruce Ohr’s contacts with Fusion GPS.

Attorney and Libertarian Professor and Blogger, Glen Reynolds just had this interesting exchange:

SO I JUST HAD AN INTERESTING EMAIL EXCHANGE WITH THE SPECIAL COUNSEL’S PRESS OFFICE:

    Me:

I’m hearing from a source that Lisa Page was involved in approving Peter Strzok’s warrant requests to the FISC and possibly elsewhere. Can you confirm or deny if this was the case? And please tell me what her job title and function are in your office. Thanks.

    Them (via spokesman Joshua Stueve):

Lisa Page, who was an attorney on detail to the Special Counsel’s office, returned to the FBI’s Office of the General Counsel in mid-July.

    Me again:

Thank you but that doesn’t answer my question. What role did Lisa Page have in the handling of warrant applications, and in particular those involving Peter Strzok?

    Them again:

    I’ll decline to comment further.

    Well, then.

Page, remember, is the FBI lawyer with whom Strzok was having an extramarital affair and exchanging anti-Trump texts. Perhaps someone with more resources than I will be able to get to the bottom of this.

Well, when you discuss inviting enough dinner guests to avoid suspicion, and conceal the reason you invited Rudy was to talk about FISC ... and you text about hating Trump all day long ... :roflol:

You are the guys who supported the crooked Obama Administration illegally spying on Trump based on fabricated evidence planted by the Crooked Hillary campaign.

Steele's fabrications included: “An ethnic Russian close associate” of Trump’s “admitted that there was a well-developed conspiracy” between him and the Russians. Another fabricated claim: The DNC hack was carried out “with the full knowledge and support of Trump and senior members of his campaign team.” There it was: the proof the Clinton campaign needed. The great crime against Hillary Clinton was a joint Russian-American operation, and Trump was in on it from the beginning.

Steele’s startling discoveries hardly stopped there. But before revealing more, let’s pause and consider the purpose of his reports. How, precisely, did his direct employer, Fusion GPS, use them?

Glenn Simpson's company is Fusion GPS. They feed complicit reporters. He is a public-relations flack that feeds the Fake News apparatus of the "progressive" movement.

Steele’s claims were unverifiable and, therefore, unprintable. But the main themes were run. An article such as “Trump and Putin: A Love Story,” which David Remnick, the editor of The New Yorker, wrote and published in early August. “Putin,” sees in Trump a grand opportunity,” Remnick explained. “He sees in Trump weakness and ignorance, a confused mind. He has every hope of exploiting him.”.

Remnick stopped just short of claiming that Putin was actually blackmailing Trump, but his depiction of their relations followed the trail laid down by Steele’s fabrications: Remnick took pains, for example, to instruct readers:

The gathering of kompromat — compromising material — is a familiar tactic in Putin’s arsenal. For years, the Russian intelligence services have filmed political enemies in stages of sexual and/or narcotic indulgence, and have distributed the grainy images online.

Jane Mayer, a staff writer for the New Yorker, recently confessed that she received a briefing from Steele. First they claim that Putin was blackmailing Trump with compromising videos, then claim Trump posed a danger to the Western alliance, string together a few quotes from Trump with a few ominous warnings from foreign-policy experts. The dossier helped Simpson sell a master narrative we were all treated to.
