I won't be proven wrong because the events in question happened nine months ago, and we know the facts.

You didn’t specify which committee voted not to see the supporting data nor did you back up your claim.

OK, so I'll take that as an admission that you have no idea what this is all about.

Do you want me to tell you who the President is, since you obviously don't know who Devin Nunes is?

Seriously, it's embarrasing when one of you Trumpsters demonstrates this level of basic ignorance and then doubled down on it.

I'm one of those people in my personal life who believes in the 'truth, no matter what the truth is'. I'd rather deal with someone who honestly wants to get me, than a backstabber. I'm the kind of person who can face the deep dark truth, no matter what it is. And one of my biggest pet peeves has been "I can't answer that in a classified setting."

So, let me get this straight: We can hear about one of the most outlandish and devastating charges against an executive(if true), but you can't even tell us what information you have pertaining this matter to the American People?

See, that to me is a farce. In a supposed open government like ours supposedly is, they should be able to give us this information. And we shouldn't have to question the information they give us. Since they can't give us the information, the void has indeed been filled with speculation.

That's why it's actually beneficial to American National security to get the truth of the matter. Black out as many names as you have to. But the people deserve the what, when and why.

are you kidding, the right leaked all the time about Obama and Clinton.... and now it's the right leaking under Trump

leaks like this text that were only a partial text, and turned out to be a joke when we saw the full text is crazy, irresponsible of republicans to do this nonsense to attack the FBI cause they are investigating Trump

You would have to take that up with Devin Nunes.

You're making a fool of yourself.

FYI, Devin Nunes is the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

Donald Trump is President, in case you weren't up on that either.

So you are saying that the Intelligence Committee voted not to see the supporting data. Link.

I'll take it up with everyone. I find it absurd that this investigation began in June/July of 2016, and we sit here a few days away from February 2018 with no more of a clue than we did back then. At this point, we're regurgitating "positions" on the matter. I don't want to take a position on the matter, I want the truth.

If the President is guilty, I feel extraordinarily betrayed, even angered. He betrayed the nation and therefore sullied the highest and most decorated office of the land. If the FBI committed violations, I want reform. I'm saddened that many neocon warmonger Republicans still want to give the DHS/NSA Fisa powers, even after suspected violations.

"Schiff declined to go into more detail. But he also told me that he’d offered a motion on the committee that would delay the release of the memo until all its members could get access to the underlying material, but Republicans voted it down on party lines.

“That’s pretty telling,” Schiff said. Asked repeatedly to detail how the memo distorts the underlying info, Schiff said he could not because the materials are classified. A Nunes spokesman didn’t immediately return an email for comment."

I find it absurd that you would make a claim like that.

We know a lot more than we did in June and July of 2016.

Indeed, many of the events that are being investigated occurred during and after those dates, includings ones for which people have been indicted and plead guilty.

So saying that "we sit here a few days away from February 2018 with no more of a clue than we did back then" is, itself clearly absurd.

Saying that people are just "taking positions" is equally absurd. We are learning new things every day. We just learned yesterday that Flynn tried to hide the fact that the FBI came to see him on his second day on the job.

It took more than two years for the events of Watergate to end the Presidency of Richard Nixon. It would have taken a year or more longer, had Nixon been the kind of man Trump is, and insisted on going down with the ship in an impeachment.

Ken Starr spent four years investigating Clinton before he was impeached.

This isn't going to end soon. We have not seen the end of indictments, either.

What is different is the total lack of any sort of public hearings in Congress.

The House Intelligence Committee has not held a public hearing on matters related to Russia, or interviewed anyone in the Trump team publicly since Comey testified.

I expect the Meuller investigation will continue well into 2019, with a steady stream of indictments along the way.

The evidence of obstruction of justice is now so overwhelming that most legal experts think there is a very solid case. Some believe that the investigation will inevitably lead into probes into an underlying crime(s).

You will know it's all over when Mueller subpoenas the finacial records of Donald Trump and the Trump Organization. (we'll get to the emoluments clause with that).

So Flynn tried to hide that he met with the FBI from who? The President? The media? Who, and why should I particularly care? The FBI got him(and Papadoulous) for lying and Manafort on tax evasion/money laundering charges. Okay, so we do know some things.

But as others have said: None of it, pertained to the *grand conspiracy*. That's the conspiracy that damn near EVERY American wants a confirmation or denial, very solidly and without contradiction. I want to know if Trump colluded with Russia, and given that the FISA Court denied the application the first time, why'd they accept it the second time?

So they didn’t vote to not see the underlying material but voted down Schiff’s delay tactic. The Inteligence Comittee members all have access to the material but as has been reported they won’t go view it.

I do. I also watched the genius Roger Stone predicting that Nunes would be the next target before you even got the memo.

The GOP is shouting about the FBI having agents that held political views all the while, this idiot is carrying memos written BY THE WH that claim abuses in the FISA. These people are the biggest pile of hypocrites to ever be assembled. Mueller has got to take the Liar in Chief out.

It all points to a pattern of collusion and a clear communication between the Russians and the Trump campaign. This is not normal.

And the conspiracy will be detailed.

Of course, you've carried a lot of water for the effort to discredit all the investigations.
