What I was trying to convey is not about the reasons behind any of the public unrest, just that it exists and while we (you and me) don't agree with the Capitol rioters' purpose, there are some that don't agree with BLM's or Antifa's purpose. I apologize if it sounded like a side-by-side comparison.

True, but they aren't organized and they need him to sanction their behavior. Also, we can't discount what transitions have taken place within the ones that were arrested for Jan. 6, 2021. I'm sure the illusion has been broken as he isn't touching any of that to help them. This is likely to happen many times over as more start to accept that it has always been about him and not them or our Constitution or our country.

How rich is this.... Katie, a democrat, who actively supported the "get in their face" BS is now on the receiving end of an angry public. Why? She doesn't represent the majority of her district. As more folks in the Orange recognize just how dissonant her politics are, I'd expect that more and more public appearances in her home district will reflect the anger of the citizens at her support for the abuses of the citizens of her district. Thankfully, she's back on the ballot in 22 and of course, she's not likely to retain her seat.

When Katie denounces the public participation in her town halls, and her unwillingness to even enter into a discussion of her support and continued support of the lockdowns, she's just declaring her support for the tyranny of her party. What else does she expect from folks who, until the recall of Newsome was official, were being reduced to reliance on government hand outs because the economy there wasn't open for them to earn for themselves?

Katie deserves all of the public anger that she's fomented and I'd expect that future events will be as contentious and no amount of BS air cover from the CCP news agency at MSNBC will be enough to save her.

 

Judgments and absurd accusations against "the left" are all I've seen here for years now. Can't have any discussion about a president, especially a certain criminal one, without immediate deflections about "the left," in fact. In fact, this thread is not even about "the left," but that's immediately what you and several others here seek to do, because the wingnuts who violently disrupted this town hall meeting are an inconvenient subject for them, yet they can't just leave the thread alone either, but have to come and disrupt it -- rather like the people this thread and OP video are about in the first place, in fact.
