The left stormed the Kavanaugh hearings, they looted Target stores and called Trump supporters uneducated deplorables and worse. They attacked us non stop on social media and attacked Trump and his family. Snoop Dog said we should Pimp out Melania Trump...

Let's not forget Milo Yianopoulos back in I believe 2017 going to Berkley to speak and being met with a large crowd protesting and lighting stuff on fire. All he was going to do was hold a speech but they did not like his conservative views so they became very hostile.

Kaitlin Bennet went to a college to interview some students more recently and found herself surrounded by a crowd of angry young people who were screaming, throwing water and being hostile.

Patriot Prayer and others held a rally in Portland Oregon. (One of many) They were peacefull the entire time but the media tried to hide that fact. The hostile left showed up and became so violent some were arrested. Reporters like Andy Ngo were assaulted with objects to the head. As the conservatives left they were assaulted by violent Protestors. John Turano and his daughter were attacked. The full video showed John on the ground being kicked in by almost a dozen people before managing to get up and run.

I remember in another state conservatives were leaving a rally and were attacked in a parking garage.

Back in 2016 a man died in a ambulance because protestors refused to stop blocking the road to show how angry they were Trump won. The ambulance could not get to the hospital. I doubt a single protestor cares that he died.

It's funny they try to say conservatives are violent and point to the tea party but the tea party stayed off the road and mostly held up signs peacefully. They also reference Proud Boys but all of the videos I have seen showed them defending themselves from Antifa.


It's hard for me to care when these people cry about Republicans but ignore so much violence on the other side. I hate double standards.

Right wing talking points feed into the radicalization evident in my OP and helped give us January 6th. Millions of people are misled by Trump and wingnut media, both of the Fox variety and of the purely fake news variety.

So many people are so badly deceived and so angry and even violent over what they believe, yet it's all a pack of trumpian lies and partisan propaganda.

 

Where are the actual videos of the event? What are the specifics of the "disruption"? Then you have the MSNBC spokeshole call the opponent a Nazi.

Maybe we could get past it if both sides admitted that they were wrong in doing X. But that doesn't happen. You could not seem to find any criticism for a summer (and more) of riots, nationwide. Is it not a reasonable conclusion to draw?

 

We spoke mostly about Trump when he was president. I don't recall alot of threads deflecting to Obama. There was some but not alot.

Sure both sides do it but one side takes it to a whole new level.
