Let's say we took a poll of ex-gay people asking them if whatever therapy they went to work I wouldn't trust the outcome. That is a group of people that notoriously lies to themselves as our leftists they think they're liberal.

With wanting people to have informed and non tolling discussions on a forum designed as such instead of being so morally bankrupt they have to troll and delete others though? Unfortunately I do make that mistake too often.

people say any discussion where someone doesn't just agree with them in lockstep is trolling if you can't handle people not agreeing with the opinion polls you present maybe this isn't the hobby for you.

I don't care how desperately you want your narratives to be reality it's simply isn't.

I'm not interested into which authority you appeal to and it's a logical fallacy.

If you can't have a discussion with someone that disagrees with you you're probably in the wrong place

I'm not going to accept opinion as fact I don't care if it comes from some hoity-toity source that fancies itself fact-based.

If the only point in continuing is finding people that only agree with you and never argue you're in the wrong place.

 

FYI I could probably find several sources that say the Overton window has shifted to the left you wouldn't accept them because they don't affirm your narrative.
