Over the past several years, liberals have become the most HATEFUL and INTOLERANT group that exist in America. They will lie, cheat, steal, injure, and even kill to promote an agenda. Proof is in most of the news stories in the past several years. Take a look at most of 2020 at exhibit A. So please stop getting your panties in a bunch about someone who wants to teach kids wholesome values to be a better person. I know you hate that with all your being, but the rest of us appreciate it.

Wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that current generations are not actually becoming adults until much much later in life ... if at all. That, and the fact so few have any skin in the game (aka property and/or business).

Outrageously protracted teenager-hood is the reason for this statistic - nothing else. When you think of yourself as a perpetual child .. free to play dress ups forever, while your parent/Govt does all the boring stuff to keep you fed and housed, you'll go with whatever feels the warmest and fuzziest.

 

You just skimmed over the entire year of 2020 where many innocent people were assaulted and killed to bring up J6 where NO congressmen or VP were killed or even attempted to be killed. This is your idea of a relevant reply?

Why is a thread about kids attending an event at a library with their parents that teaches good values get you so upset? Maybe that's the question you should be asking?

There is no such thing as even a shred of integrity without God as he’s the source of it. People who think they have any personal integrity at all without God and religion are simply deluding themselves. No one can be a “good and moral” person except that the very concept itself originated with and is from God.

There are actually many. Perhaps what you meant to ask is: Where can I find a Christian church that practices these values? As a whole you'll find very few. But then the point of churches isn't to serve the perfect, but those trying to be.

 

If one has to base their integrity on a false supernatural being then that person has no integrity to begin with.

The horror of religion is that it allows perfectly sane and decent people to believe by the billions which only lunatics could believe on their own​

 

There is a great line from the first season of True Detective. To paraphrase.

If someone's only reason for trying to be a good person is the expectation of a divine reward, then that someone is a horrible person.

 

There are a ton of younger — under mid 30’s seems to be where the line exists — business owners and property owners (often both) that have not turned conservative.

The difference isn’t responsibility, it’s seeing what the right wing has become. The left has some bad apples but the entire philosophy of the modern right is corrupt.

 

Have you noticed that most of the most vocal people that preach the most hate are oftentimes the same people that believe they will be gaining that reward.

I sometimes wish they were right about their being a higher power just so they could get the ‘reward, they so richly deserve.

 

That's rarely the motivation of people of faith. Anyone who believes that doesn't understand why people do good deeds. And probably because they themselves are selfish people.

 

Faith has been used to control and fleece others since a monkey pointed to the sun, and said to another monkey the sun "he talked to me and said you have to give me your banana".

Now there are people of faith who do wonderful, charitable, kind acts in the name of their faith. Kirk Cameron is not one of them.

 

You know Kirk well enough to know he's not a good man? What bad things has he done?
