    Scarsdale, N.Y. — Kirk Cameron received an enthusiastic reception from families on Friday as he delivered an uplifting message of faith, love and patriotism at Scarsdale Public Library in Westchester County, New York.

    The crowd exceeded space limitations, forcing Cameron to do two readings of his new children's book in the hour allotted for the program. Hundreds of people waiting in line never got inside the library.

    "We’re here because we love God, we love our families, our children, we love our country and we love Scarsdale Public Library," the actor, writer and producer said before the lively audience while promoting his book, "As You Grow."

    T    his news report about another huge crowd turning out with their kids for these events is truly great news. Secular progressives now wish they hadn’t tried to exclude him and the reading of his book in other places. Even in big urban areas people see the need for the emphasis of faith, family, country.

    It’s great to see kids getting valuable uplifting reading that promotes values and country rather than grooming for sick pervert lifestyles.

    The library said it sent Cameron's representatives a link, and that they responded... "We would love to schedule a story hour for Mr. Cameron's book where we read ‘As You Grow’ and speak to families about following the wisdom of the Bible, as well as discussing the harmful effects of woke ideologies, specifically CRT and the transgender agenda."


    The library said it replied, "Thank you for thinking of us, but we are not interested in this program."


    Well I'll be darned. I tellzya. Can't think of what their objection was.:bye:

    The book purportedly "teaches biblical wisdom... love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, self-control."

    Yet no mention of tolerance or speaking out against injustice. Are they not part of the Bible?

    No. They aren't getting married and having children. Both metrics have gone off the cliff with millenials. Marriage and children are what make people conservative. They stop thinking about themselves and start thinking about their children. They learn to think more of others and less of themselves.

    The reason the Democrat Party pushes for degeneracy is obvious. Stable married families are cancerous at the ballot box for Democrats. The ruination of the younger generations is being done to ensure absolute power for the Democrat Party.... along with importing hordes of 3rd worlders who vote overwhelmingly Democrat.

    Libraries are so corrupt. 15 or so years ago when I was stay at home mother I went to library around Presidents day to help my kids find books on George Washington. We found none. But Martin Luther King books...hundreds of them...were displayed all over. I asked librarian why no George Washington books or books about our founders....at all. She said "no one is interested in those books so they don't carry them." It was very eye opening.

    What’s interesting is that many of the things created by the Republican Party are what’s causing this. Of the reason people cite for not wanting to have children, cost comes as one of the main issues — directly related to child care (which Republicans oppose solutions), medical care (which Republicans oppose solutions), housing (which Republicans oppose solutions) — its ironic when you think about it.

    I have no issues with children being taught about patriotism as a concept, or about the numerous world religions and their individual beliefs — but this isn’t that.

    And trying to imply that is what this event was is laughable. When you are only teaching one — it is indoctrination.

    No one asked me a question, my first post in this thread was to you. I only asked a simple question, I didn't imply anything, I took a direct quote from the article. You still won't answer and now you seem to be getting frustrated. Why?

    I think parents can choose what their kids are learning. Parents chose to bring their children to this, it was not being taught in a public school so it is not religious grooming. There is no harm is teaching kids about how to be good people.
