I wonder if the mosque is going to display it as a sort of trophy? If you look throughout history around the world, wherever the Muslims would defeat their Christian/Jewish enemies, they would do symbolic things like this. When they overtook Alexandria, they turned the oldest church in Christendom into a mosque. Same thing with the Jewish temple in Jerusalem. It's a mosque now.

I just found it ironic that it was literally wedged against the building that is to house the new mosque.

 

The Muslims building the mosque didn't do anything evil on 9-11. The multi-faith board of directors isn't interested in promoting radicalism. By saying this you are just showing the bigotry is always is used by the radicals to recruit new suicide bombers.

And? That doesn't make the building itself a mosque (there was a damn Mosque on the 17th floor of the WTC) nor does it make it at Ground Zero.

Hell, if we are just going by Pew Polls, those show me to be correct. The vast majority of Muslims can't justify suicide bombings or attacks on civilians. So, thanks for that.

How is it a victory mosque? Is it a mosque? No. Because it is SOMEWHAT close to Ground Zero? Did this "mosque" come out with a victory message? No. Did they dedicate the building to "Those brave attackers on 9/11"? No.

So, just because it is a few blocks away from Ground Zero automatically makes it a victory mosque?
