List the BAD things about Jesus

1. We are learning more as time goes by that the people were not that illiterate. Many had at least an elementary form of writing as is witnessed by everyday artifacts turning up with writing or inscriptions on them obviously done by less able writers than the scribes.
2. Jesus message was for the Jews. I doubt the foreign Acadamies were particularly interest in the Jewish faith.
3. Even Jesus couldn't reach Alexandria by boat, via Lake Galilee.

If it is accepted that Jesus was the son of a carpenter finances would not be plentiful for travel - unless he hitched it on the back of a DONKEY.

And Alexandria was not 2 days away however you travelled. As the crow flies it is 314 miles - over double that by land. A man travels between 3-4 miles an hour - depending on the surface, and roads those days (except Roman Roads) were rough. 10 hours = approx 35 miles. That makes 2 days to the coast. Remembering that there were no ferries/cruise liners etc then, he would have to wait for a boat going to Alexandria which would take passengers. Depending on weather conditions and prevailing Mediterranean winds it could take another 2-3 days to reach Alexandria. Total time unknown.
By land we have doubled the 'crow flies' distance but doesn't take into account the winding roads through the southern hills of Palestine. Walking would take a lot longer.

Have you ever ridden a donkey in the ME? Its really slow.. Most people didn't ride donkeys.. The donkey was laden with parcels and they walked beside the donkey.

If he was born during lambing season in Palestine.. it was probably very early spring.. as in February.

Why not just say he was born on earth during the year.

Nothing else is known.

 

Most people were illiterate.. That's why they had scribes and why the laws were READ in the synagogue.

The things i said regarding early xtians and nazareth are not opinions. Same with that there never was a guy named "Jesus" back then.
