Man Burns Down Abortion Clinic, Says He Did It Because He Doesn't Like Abortions

Here we have a pro life extremist who decided that because he was so opposed to abortion, he would burn down an abortion clinic, and that is exactly what he did:

Thankfully this extremist didn't kill anyone.
The abortion clinic has been surrounded by violence for the last 30 years - why hasn't something been done?
And why was a man with a list of criminal offenses as long as my arm allowed to roam the streets?

I am personally opposed to firebombing abortion clinics and potentially killing the people inside, but I don't want to impose my moral values on others.

As a pro-choice, I dont support it, but I can understand his mentality. If I was persuaded that there are for example born people being killed, I would probably support such actions too (if there was not government to help). He thinks unsentient humans are just as valuable as sentient ones, so its the same for him.

We must concentrate on showing the ridiculosity of considering non-sentient life as valuable as sentient life (or ridiculosity of considering anything completely unsentient a "moral actor" or a person, regardless of the order of its nucleotides in a DNA), to the point that someone is capable to kill sentient life just to save some non-sentient life.

Since morality is relative, from his point of view he has done the same as for example bombing nazis in a concentration camp from our POV, bombing slaughterhouses from the POV of animal rights extremists, or bombing infidels from the POV of a person persuaded that his highest moral authority - Allah, is demanding their death.

 

I live in Pensacola, where the above occurred. I don't really think the man did it for those reasons. I think it had more to do with the people that own the place (who have lost their license to practice medicine in Florida and several other states), and are being charged with murder in Maryland for a botched late term abortion. The man accused of doing the burning is an obvious homeless person with major problems. I can't imagine him having the evangelical zeal of the other clinic bombers, etc. He just doesn't fit the profile of Eric Rudolph or Paul Hill (both clinic bombers, the second of whom actually blew up this same clinic). I think he's a fall guy for the owners who are trying to paint themselves as sympathetic victims of the far right.

He did it at 1 am Sunday morning. Nobody was in the clinic.

 

There was nobody inside ....nobody got hurt.

I am glad he did it.

Abortion is murder and though I do not have the guts to break the law myself in protest of this type of murder I am happy someone else does. Granted nobody was killed or hurt.

Liberals break the law all the time in protest for such things like gay rights.....They break the law and they do the time. Same with this guy.

But in the end , im sure the abortion clinic will just come back stronger. No doubt a state funded murder factory like that is well insured.
