Man was publicly beheaded in a Saudi Arabian car park for being a 'sorcerer'

More than likely they did it in the car park, not to satisfy the crowds blood lust, but instead to set an example for the crowds to avoid. Deterence.

 

Perhaps, but wouldn't it depend on whether the crowd knew why he was being executed?

 

Oh , I don't know. Americans would quickly approve of beheadings in car parks if the Federal government turned a blind eye. It might not have the same entertainment value as injecting poison into a bound prisoner or frying one in an electrified chair but it could soon catch on.

If he was capable of that, I would think he would have prevented himself from being executed.
