I recall those words of Lindsey Graham distinctly: "So what? ..is this the end of the Republican Party?". He said it in the Senate shortly after Jan 6th if you recall. He saw it coming; we saw it coming; it's coming.

People are super happy with the disaster that is Joe Biden. You know, the guy that promised to cure cancer if he was elected.

 

I think the tactics we are starting to see from Republicans are indicative of them seeing the writing on the walls.

Their ideology frequently polls very low and the only items their base seem to be able to agree on is how much they hate whichever group the right is targeting that day.

Parties with liked policy do not have to withhold confirmation impacting military readiness or justices until they can massage the vote to get elected. They do not have to push for unconstitutional hyper partisan gerrymandering to void the votes of the people. They do not have to continually jump from conspiracy to conspiracy with zero evidence while controlling the largest media company (imitating a news company) to push these conspiracies.

And they absolutely don’t have to conspire to completely remake the federal government with “loyal” officials to the conservative agenda.

I'm pretty sure the young black men slaughtering each other daily in the streets of Chicago and Detroit aren't members of the GOP. Neither are the ones that are looting and stealing every single day in California and other liberal states....

 

Every time the pendulum swings, people make this argument. Unfortunately, the results dems are producing are making it so someone like trump has a chance. Personally, I would not vote for either of the corrupt, elderly sex offenders.
