Indentured servitude was, for the most part, a voluntary situation. A person would agree to a position of indentured service for a set period of time in order to secure passage to America. After a set period of time (usually 5 to 7 years) the indentured servant was free to work where he wished.

Slaves were property. To be bought and sold. They lived and worked and died as property.

Do you believe in general black culture is better than white culture? Do you believe our country would be better were in majority black and black culture was the dominate? Would it have been better if Blacks from Africa had first settled here and colonized it and maybe even brought the white slaves they were also capturing during that time?
