Okay but I fail to see how that it is an argument to not try to prevent future indoor shootings. Perhaps you can explain how it is.

Yep, very true. Perhaps buses could be fitted with metal detectors. I get what you're saying - if schools were impossible to penetrate, killers may try to find other ways to get to students. And these alternatives should be fully considered.

    I'm saying

    1) All the measures suggested are "not worth the trouble".
    2) Ineffective measures can do more harm than good when they instill a false sense of security.

Just a coincidence that the mass shootings are with military designed guns

Why do you keep repeating statements you know are not true?

They're simply a much 'cooler' kind of gun and therefore the gun of choice of these shooters. If they didn't exist, the shooters would simply have used another type of gun.

Why do you Want guns that can kill dozens in a few minutes? Why do you need them other than to slaughter innocents or to feel macho ? I cannot understand how people like you can live with yourselves

a single shot shotgun can kill "dozens in a few minutes". And you don't need much accuracy or training firing one to do so.

Teachers have known virtually all the people involved in the most infamous school shootings. How is that at all relevant?

Are you really comparing a school bus that will take about 40 kids on it and the same ones every day with the school that has a couple of thousand kids. When I had a class of 30 I knew each and everyone of them and I would not have let in a stranger

The teachers in a school do not have a "couple of thousand kids" as students every day.

By the way, in addition to teaching for 11 years I also drove a school bus for 7 of those years.

Mass murderers want the "coolness" factor for their crimes.

But that doesn't mean that the crimes would not occur anyway.

    You didn't answer the question.
You know the statements you post are false - why do you keep posting them?

Explain to us how this gun cannot be used to kill 17 people in 3 minutes.

Well I'm sure drivers knew Cruz too, don't you think? How well can a bus driver really know a kid. They'd know them to look at, sure.

In the mind of the gun grabbers, people intent on mass murder get tired after pulling the trigger a couple of times and say the hell with it.

Then why are semi automatics the weapon of choice for mass shooters?

Really? I thought they were. And you 'liked' my response to Renee where I said that it is the gun type of choice because they're so cool.

That is my point . In my school there were a few thousand kids walking around who had access to shooting up a few dozen kids in a couple of mi Utes . lComparing a school bus to my school is ridiculous.
