    So, because Matt Damon has 10 million dollars, and he's a far leftist, and in Hollywood, he has a right to be furious and defend himself, but Judge Kavenaugh doesn't. How dare Kavenaugh defend himself against false accusations? Matt Damon, friend of Harvey Weinstein. Matt Damon, scorched by Minnie Driver for opining that there is a "spectrum" of misconduct, not all of which is criminal. Matt Damon, who has had to appologize to the #metoo movement and cowed into the position of keeping his mouth shut. His skit on SNL was totally disgusting.

    The position of the left is, "Let's all throw the gasoline on a man based on hearsay, and laugh while he burns." How progressive.

    The platform seems to be, "Let's not be civilized, let's not honor civil freedoms, or due process, or the fundamental protection offered by our constitution that we are all innocent until proven guilty. Let's just dump our anger on anyone we can, whether they deserve it or not."

    This is why the classic liberals are leaving the Leftist democrat party. They are smarter than the sinking party.

    The elevator woman might have a right to be angry, but her anger is misplaced. She should go after her rapist, not Jeff Flake or Judge Kavenaugh.

    Progs killed off Bork, but also Miguel Estrada who would have been the first Latino on the supreme court. They tried to kill off Justice Clarence Thomas, but failed. They tried to filibuster Justice Gorsuch. There are your "old white men": Kennedy, Biden, Leahy, Democrats all.

    Some people have fallen for the red herring, "it's about abortion rights".
    Baloney.
    This has gone on for nearly 40 years, and the prog goal is to take over the court with justices that will rule from the bench, overturn the constitution and ignore laws written in Congress, and use the resulting smeary chaos as an excuse to rewrite the Constitution. That's the goal.

    It has nothing to do with Kavenaugh. It's about political assasination.

    No they didn't.

    The Patriot Act was set to expire in 2015 and Obama and congress could have let it go or renewed it, which they did.

    Currently it is set to expire again in 2019 so we will see what Trump and Co. do with it.

    It doesn't go with the office, its a temporary provision.
