    You have obviously never been to Memphis during Elvis death week...

    Literally tens of thousands of people pour into the city dressed as him. When i worked at the Pink Palace Museum the place would always get choked with the impersonators. Imagine a city filled with bawling screaming elvis fans celebrating the legend and then Bachman says this......

    She just lost a WHOLE bunch of people.

    Most of them are just having a good time. To suggest that millions of people would not vote for someone just because they got a simple date wrong goes way beyond totally asinine.

    She did not insult the king. If you want to insult the king then this is how you do it:

    You kn ow, I do agree..... but could it possibly be any worse or more embarrassing that a Harvard grad who claimed to be Magna cum Laude turned POTUS who claimed the US Constitution was written 2,000 yrs ago?

    I really don't care who the King is. Does it really matter that Bachmann offended Presley fans simply because she couldn't tell the difference between his birthday or death day?

    You can argue that she didn't know instead of couldn't tell the difference. I say, "So what?" Not knowing and not caring are two different things.

    If they had anything real on Michelle Bachman, they would have pulled it out by now.

    Elvis was the King. When all you need do is raise your lip 1/4", and chicks then pass out, or line up 1000 deep to be in the "have our baby" raffle, you da king !!

    Honestly I loved Elvis...but it is what it is....out of all the things we should be concerned about what day Elvis was born or died is inconsequential...

    I love how there's a thread on this, everybody is surprised that Michelle Bachman said something that wasn't just a talking point. And she got that wrong too.
