He would be a citizen by virtue of the fact that his Mom was a citizen. Correct?

I've read some really bizarre hyperliberal fiction before, but yours ranks with the most inaccurate, naive nonsense I've ever seen! Ancient African civilizations tutored the Greeks and the Romans with their "ideas"...?! Where are the ancient African ruins that were the precursors to the Parthenon or any of these constructions in ancient Rome: http://www.touropia.com/ancient-roman-monuments/

Except for the Upper Kingdom of the Nile and "Nubia", the great Egyptian Dynasties did not contain any "African" elements beyond agricultural assets (herd animals, etc.) and slaves. Some claim that the Lower Kingdom was merely on offshoot of this "African" Upper Kingdom. Then why are all the ancient Egyptian pyramids, temples, and other magnificent ruins located in the Lower Kingdom and none of them in the Upper Kingdom?

The "Africa" that Ms. Obama wants to glorify (and it is her right to do so) was, and still is, a relatively primitive part of the world, where the natives live in elementary huts in villages with highly unsanitary conditions, practicing slash-and-burn agriculture to this day (as they have for thousands of years). They hunt wild beasts for meat, practice animistic religions, and raid each others' tribes, towns, and villages, taking slaves and stealing from each other. It really hasn't changed much since the Stone Age, but if Ms. Obama gets a thrill from celebrating that, hey, why not...?

But, please, provide links to credible information if you're going to make outrageous claims that all the science, math "and lots of other fields of study originated in Africa". This will surely make for fascinating reading.... :roflol:

Thank you, Mr. Obvious. That's a requirement, not a warning. The Constitution gives no warnings. That's what prompted my question.

Hey Einstein. The Constitution doesn't say "Be careful of foreign borns". That's a warning. It says you can't be President unless you're born here.

    Capeesh?

I don't know why liberals are not criticizing Michele Obama and lecturing her that its stupid to identify with her race and that its a social construct like they do to white people. But when non-whites say they are proud of their bloodlines they get a round of applause. Heil hitler!

There's nothing racist abut being proud of your heritage. It's only racism if you think your racial bloodline is inherently superior to others.

It's easy to see you are a product of a limited educational system and haven't sought out information on your own. Africa is the cradle of civilization. There were civilized kingdoms in Kush and Sumeria before the birth of Christ. Sumeria was in present day Iraq (the citizens were Black skinned people). The Sumerians are credited with creating the writing, math, astronomy and the lunar calendar. Timbuktu was in the Kingdom of Kush, located in present day Mali. In the 14th century it was a center of learning for Islamic scholars. It began to decline after 1612 when they were invaded by the Moroccan Army. The ancient African ruins are in---AFRICA! Go google: archeology in Africa. Mrs. Obama has much to be proud of. You too---since civilization began in Africa that means you have African ancestors.:clapping:

It is theorized that Homo Sapiens originated in the continent of Africa, and from there spread throughout the world. We owe our very existence as a species to this humble origin, but that is a very l-o-n-g way from "the glory that was Greece and the grandeur that was Rome" -- to say nothing of the Holy Roman Empire, the Renaissance, the Hanseatic League, the Age of Enlightenment, the British Empire, the French Empire, the Industrial Age, etc., etc.

I asked you for links to credible information sources to support your amazing claims, and you provided none. So be it. You and Ms. Obama be proud of whatever you think merits it, and I'll be proud of what I believe has contributed most to human civilization... and we can both be happy.

If it makes you feel any more vindicated, I'll be the first to admit that I wish I could forage in the wild as well as an African tribesman in his jungle. In that situation, the bushman would survive, and I very probably would not. Which is also certainly why my Northern European ancestors put their minds to the challenges they faced instead of just going on with whatever they had been doing for thousands of years before.... Cheers!

It is willful ignorance like yours that helps contribute to our racial problems. That's OK. Have a nice day.

"Earlier in my college career, there was no doubt in my mind that as a member of the Black community I was somehow obligated to this community and would use all of my present and future resources to benefit this community first and foremost" -michelle obama

I can't see where Michelle said anything so terrible. She stated she wanted to help her people. What's your problem with that?

And you've never done this? Please tell the truth. Even so, she said this many years ago. Her world view probably has changed since then.

How is stating you are proud of where you come from putting your race above all others?
