If you, your family, and your people, had lived the same history and experiences as the First Lady and her people have in this country, you would probably be more understanding and compassionate about her comments. In fact, you might express the same exact thoughts.

Good for you missus, all blacks can be proud of surviving for thousands of years in that hostile environment of nasty animals, snakes, bugs and diseases.
My veins are full of a bizarre cocktail of the blood of stone age tribes, Romans, Vikings, Anglo-Saxons and Normans, all of whom occupied my old home town of Leicester (England) at different times throughout its 4000-year history, so maybe their DNA has trickled down to me.
A distant ancestor of mine might have been a Roman soldier badass, as the infamous 14th Legion was stationed in Leicester for a while, it'd certainly explain why I like wargaming..;)

The woman graduated from Princeton, became a lawyer , and the First Lady of the US. She has a great life! Don't know if she could have had her accomplishments in Africa. Where else but America?

Such a radical collectivist worldview. Ugh.

It's sad that trying to understand others, rather than prejudging them, would seem radical to you. Enjoy the coming Trump trainwreck.

Not all blacks are "oppressed" and not all whites are "privileged" (whatever the heck thos terms mean). We are all individuals and in places like US and Europe there are no such thing as "structural racism".

Very classy assuming I am a Trumpian, did you pull that assumption out of your arse? Additionally I am not even Murican nor do I live in Murica so I do not really care how things go. However, I am very glad Hillary did not win.
