It is a complex problem with no simple easy answers. The traditional method for handling such diseases is to quarantine the infected and they would either get well or die. By flooding the hospitals with infected people it has displaced all of the other sick people and killed a lot of health care providers. By trying to save a few we end up harming the many. By our standards, it is certainly heartless to deny the infected whatever medical care the system can give them but is that the best option for the many who can not access the medical care that they need for their routine disorders?

The problem is that we, as a society and as individuals, do not have the resources to handle this abnormal event. And remember that each of us could be seriously infected at anytime so how would you like to be treated?

 

How would I, individually like to be treated? Well, with everything I'd read, I'd first tell the doctor that the main thing to deal with with COVID-19 has been the overactive immune system that causes the respiratory failure. So first, administer medication that 'suppresses'(more like regulates) the immune system.). After that, I personally want a kitchen sink approach. You've got plasma antibodies? Sure, inject them(just make sure they're clean so I'm not inheriting STI's and stuff). But also we can add in the HCQ+Zinc treatment.

If the doctor feels the HCQ would cause heart vulnerabilities for me, then by all means: Find a similar component that has not shown heart complications and add that to the Zinc formula. Remisidivir? By all means.. I feel we've treated COVID-19 reactively, not as pro actively and aggressively as we should.

If I die, I'm going to die fighting.

While we're at it, any medications and technologies to release the fluid that's trapped in the lungs. Or that can break down the fluids. Pumping oxygen into them doesn't matter if the lungs are still filled with fluids.

That in a nutshell is how I'd treat if I were a doctor/and or the suggestions I'd give to my own medical team.

There are many diseases that regularly ravaged mankind since forever and nothing really stopped them from killing thousands until we had vaccines. Where was our herd immunity to smallpox, typhus, plague, cholera, typhoid all those terrible maladies?
