The best thing about the lockdown is the fact that my kids will get better educated learning from me instead of the public school they attend, especially in American History because I refuse to revise the truth. Other than that and the fact that the small business I work for is giving all employees who didn't bail to stay home, are getting hazard pay for all hours worked since the lockdown. Thanks to Trump for making it possible, and thanks to democrats for being ignorant fearmongers with another failed attempt to bring down the president.

I hope that these "protests" in Michigan (and other states) become kind of a "one and done" sort of thing.

Flattening the curve has nothing to do with seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. The only purpose was to slow down the rush to the hospitals so that medical staff and equipment could keep up.

In the end, virtually everyone on the planet must develop immunity so that's the only light at the end of the tunnel. There are two ways to develop immunity: Catch and survive the virus or get a vaccine. Flattening the curve didn't, or won't, slow down the virus' progression through development and global distribution of a vaccine. So, in the end, it actually slowed down progress toward the light at the end of the tunnel.

Actually, the virus and the actions of Russia and Saudi Arabia are only half the story... The other piece is that Clinton removed the ban on banks trading commodities... Banks buy and sell futures but the problem with futures is that, eventually, the future comes around and the banks must either take delivery of the commodity (oil in this case) or sell it. Taking delivery of millions of barrels of oil would be a really big mess at a bank.

We haven't heard, yet, which companies who had futures they couldn't take delivery on, because low demand has left all the storage full, or couldn't sell, because there's no consumption due to the virus. It isn't necessarily banks and isn't necessarily just a few paper buyers. But the records exist and the story will come out. No matter who it was, when they're contractually obligated to take delivery or sell, and they have no way to take delivery, then they have to dump it on the market.

No, this issue is not Trump's fault; it's Clinton's fault.

 

I don't say Biden is a better candidate. Not at all. But consider all the better candidates than Biden who lost to him: Yang, Bullock, and Gabbard to just name three off hand. There is no logic to elections.
