Might we be seeing indications that Israel is just not PREPARED to deal with terrorists?

Everything you just said is utter flaming horse crap. One if they didn't care the death toll by now would be closer too a hundred k not 30k; two Friendly fire incidents happen in every war and urban combat guarantees them. That there have been no more than there have been is a spectacular achievement. And that cover ups have been for the most part avoided is also good. In the meantime you have completely disregarded reports of Hamas themselves killing Palestinians who try to, as Hamas sees it, shirk their duty as human shields.

 

We have we have also seen the posts the go with them. Your average third grader demonstrates better research skills, your basic ability to sort through a ton of perfectly good wheat to find a grain of worthless chaff is well nigh legendary on these boards. As is your ability take at face value almost any claptrap some mutton headed sociology pretender puts out provided it aligns with your own preconceived bias. In other quit referencing your sig line as it has nothing to do with anything in this reality.

 

And they did it by killing thousands of civilians. Many of whose brothers, sisters, sons, daughters,... would have been regular productive citizens, but will now grow up hating Israel, craving revenge... and might find some terrorist movement that will satisfy their wants.

You are not understanding the problem here. With the modern weaponry Israel has, it's EASY to corner terrorists. But that is of NO use if the way you do it results in creating MORE. And Netanyahu will BRAG "we are annihilating all the terrorists!". Because his ONLY purpose is to remain in power.... not to deal with future terrorists that he is helping to enlist.

THIS is the reason why this problem has not been solved in so many decades of conflict. But people ignore history. Therefore they are condemning Israel to repeat it... over and over and over.... Until somebody comes along and does something DIFFERENT! But, before that happens, MANY innocent people... including many Israelis and people from other countries, will have died.

So stop giving us a military report as if that were going to solve the problem. It's not! You may be too young, but those of us who have followed the conflict for decades have seen this movie before.
