It should be raised to $75 per hour.

Why not? The people in power can print an unlimited amount of money for themselves. Why shouldn't they pay their laborers a living wage? The Queen spent a $Billion on a wedding for crying out loud. Why shouldn't the servants be paid a fair wage?

Print as much money as you want, it will devalue, making your currency unstable and nobody will invest.

Raising the minimum wage will destroy small and hurt large businesses as well as encouraging employers to lay off workers.

Where did the Queen spend a billion on a wedding?

It already has. John Maynard Keynes told us it would a long time ago.
Only in a system of honest money. In a system of fiat money minimum wage laws should be tied exactly to how much money printing is created.

I read it in a tabloid somewhere. It was the new "King George's" parents if I recall correctly.

I am not talking rubbish. The minimum wage should be at least $75 and perhaps even $150 per hour. The servants should be paid a living wage.

Firstly nobody calls their staff servants secondly $75 - $150 is unaffordable, mass unemployment will follow.

Either that, or honest money would follow. Honest money principles: "Gold, Peace, and Prosperity" by Ron Paul.

    Yes, you don't understand.

    That's pretty obvious.

Too bad she didn't learn anything in that time. The minimum wage was never meant to be, and never will be, a "living wage". That stupid people want to live their lives making dirt is their problem. That saps gullible enough to vote for DemocRATs want to pretend that people SHOULD be able to support themselves doing jobs best done by high-school students, is EVERYONE'S problem. They're a cancer on the dying republic.

What should people do when employed in a ENTRY-LEVEL, minimum wage job? Apply themselves to learn skills to get promoted or find other work more suited to the jobs they learn. If they INSIST on doing the same job for ten years, why shouldn't they be paid the same wage?

The people stupid enough to vote for DemocRATs can't seem to figure this out, but the intelligent people are well aware that the value of a job is determined by the EMPLOYER not the employee, and certainly not by the elected bureauthugs or the mobs of idiots that elect them.

Yeah, the people stupid enough to vote for DemocRATs have been ordered to condemn the People United decision that restored the First Amendment to a large class of citizens.

The real underlying problem is a lack of jobs. Right now the employer has the upper hand.

The problem is the less people make the less they spend ....so...we are in a downward slide and no matter what employer pays his help he will also end up losing and eventually even the rich will end up losing. The Great Unwashed Masses may take them down also. It happened in France a couple centuries ago.

That is so profound, maybe you can use that in your Constitutional challenge to the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court does not have the power of judicial review. That is an assumed power by people in black robes.
