I asked a simple question. Is the answer hidden somewhere in your response? I can't seem to find it.

Yes, of course you list your address. Are addresses now racist too?

That's the inference. I live on a street that is adjacent to the "hood". And actually, most people on my street are black. My next door neighbor is black. Yet we got a mortgage loan. Go figure.

Edit: Btw, I live in *gasp* Mississippi.

Although it is an illegal practice, we know that redlining still occurs. So an address could be a consideration on an application. I'm not saying that it is, I'm suggesting that it could be. In some financial institutions. It was only 2015 when banks across the country had to pay hundreds of millions of dollars out because of their redlining practices.

When you apply for a loan, the person at the bank you deal with gathers all the required information, employment verification, appraisal, etc. and sends it to an underwriter. 9 out of 10 times, that underwriter isn't even located in the same state. You think that underwriter 1000 miles away knows all the black and white areas in the town the loan was applied for in? Lemme answer that for you, they don't.

As I've already responded, let me copy it for you too. However, if you try hard enough, you can think of something else as to why everything is racist.

No, I knew that. Apparently others on this thread don't.

So you want segregation? And white privilege is a nonsensical word that means gibberish. I notice it's all the rage now.

Of course they don't. And I'm not screaming 'racist' in this situation. But we know it occurs. So - using your example - were those banks across the country found guilty of redlining not using the same underwriting systems to which you refer? They weren't small, local banks, so how would they know?

Where I work, the manager who has a position to fill is sent by the HR a batch of resume without any identifying information. No name, sex, age, nationality/race. He has to judge only on the skill set in those resume and select 3 to be called to an interview. At said interview there's an HR representative and another manager beside himself and there's a scoring system managed by HR. In the end there's almost no chance for a manager to reject a candidate for something other than his qualifications.

It all sounds so simple when you haven't lived it.

Do you really believe the man who owns the factory lives in that neighborhood?
    Segregation is already in place.

That is an EXCELLENT system of hiring new employees. Every company should adopt this method.

Have you considered that it might be the stats driving the teen birth rate?

Isn't it ironic..... The new dogma of the left.. Don't talk to me.. shut up. Do as you're told. Follow or be destroyed. I saw where BLM were crafting up their own army to wage war on white folks....

Birth control has been available for many years. Most poor people have at least Medicaid, where it would be free or a very nominal cost. Then there are county Health Departments, where a person with no means can get free services.

Of course if you're a teenager with a baby the odds of finishing school are diminished. That's the beginning of a downhill slide, no matter one's race.

Birth control pills are not very nourishing. :)
And of course we keep defunding services like Planned Parenthood.

I don't know which of the middle class you associate with, but the middle class people I associate with are doing better than they were 2 years ago, 7 years ago, and even 15 years ago. If a middle class person is not getting richer, he is doing something wrong and needs to adjust his habits and make better decisions.

Of course, I am sure you will post some "data" that shows the middle class is doing worse, and I will reply that my assertion still stands: "If a middle class person is not getting richer, he is doing something wrong and needs to adjust his habits and make better decisions."
