I strongly suspect that this article and news release that IDs the attachers' as black men is a reaction to a national outcry over the past couple months. Similar wanton attacks have occured frequently in Chicago, Cincinnati, east coast and other areas and, as we know, the media refuses to ID the criminals. Calls to radio and tv stations objecting to this and even the chicago police department has commented on how remiss the non-reporting is. The backlash has been noticeable and looks like the media may be responding positively.

 

More like a death knell for that particular news outlet.

Video Shows Teens Violently Looting Redford Gas Station

REDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Surveillance video shows a group of teenagers on Friday night tearing through a Redford Township gas station.

The group of nearly 20 teens are shown running through the station and stealing several pieces of merchandise, owner Sam Matalka said.

Matalka said he lost hundreds of dollars in merchandise and had to spend hours cleaning up the damages caused by the teens Friday night.


Witnesses said the same group of teens crashed an 8th-grade graduation party earlier Friday night at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall in Redford Township. That's where witnesses said a fight broke out and shots were fired in the parking lot after the teens crashed the party.

More witnesses said the teens did not stop after the gas station and they were seen tormenting a customer at a nearby White Castle. Witnesses said the customer was chased outside, where the teens beat him as he tried to get away.


Police said the teens seen on the surveillance video could face assault, shoplifting and destruction of property charges.

No arrests have been made.

In the video, they are all black ? Did they edit out the white teens ?

 

This is obviously the result of a certain demographic being denied the same opportunities as others. More money must be dumped into this city to educate the population in school so they don't feel so hopeless.

I am going to come right out and ask it. Why is it in these stories that you must dig to find out that it's black youths? Is this hate crimes against those who aren't on the public dole? Is it an anti-private sector revolt? Is it class warfare? Is it racial?

These flash mobs are not coincidental, they are obviously planned and that requires the Internet via computers or smart phones so the kids familie's have discretionary cash to spend on techo gadgets.

Mob rush of south Oak Cliff store caught on camera


DALLAS - The upkeep and cleanliness of Sam Farah's convenience store could rival any in North Dallas.

"You don't think this store is in Oak Cliff," Farah said proudly of his investment.

But, crime is crippling his investment in the 3000 block of East Illinois Ave.

"Shoplifting is killing me," Farah added. "Shoplifting is killing me."

He said it costs him about $3,000 a month.

With 16 surveillance cameras inside and out, he has the video to prove it. Last week, a mob of people descended on his store all at once after midnight .

"They start trashing the store [and] eating," Farah said while watching surveillance video of the incident. "It's like they're robbing the store."

While several paid, the rest ate, drink and stole before police could get there, Farah said.

"We had to clean up for two hours," he said. "Plus, merchandise is gone. A bunch of merchandise is gone."

Farah estimated he lost up to $500 that night.

Shoplifting is common. Farah shared one clip from earlier this year that showed a man stealing a package of incense from a stand by the front door then running through the parking lot.

Customers have also attacked employees, according to video reviewed by News 8.

Plus, cashiers are seeing more counterfeit money. Someone passed a $100 bill recently that had a watermark of Abraham Lincoln, meaning it's really a $5 bill.

But someone apparently bleached Abe away and reprinted it with Ben Franklin and $100 markings.

Part of Farah's problem, officers said, is that three large apartment complexes are nearby his store.

Dallas police said officers have responded to 26 calls for help from his store this year, most coming within the last month for crimes like shoplifting, disorderly conduct and even aggravated assault.

DPD has made seven arrests. But, Farah wants zero tolerance and even posted a "Wall of Shame" outside his store that shows crooks his cameras caught.

"I worked hard," Farah explained. "I worked very hard to cut down on these crimes. I want somebody else to work with me."

Farah is spending money to build a restaurant, barber shop and cell phone store next door. He said he can't afford to hire off-duty police now, and short of keeping customers out or closing at dusk, he's beginning to wonder whether it's really worth investing in south Oak Cliff.

On Sunday, another store owner was murdered across the street from Farah's property. Police arrested one suspect and are still looking for two others.

Despite problems at Farah's store, Dallas police said crime in this part of town is declining. The rate is down 4 percent this year compared to last.

Overall, since Dallas police opened the South Central Station in 2007, a lieutenant said crime is down 38 percent.

Didn't see the movie. But, tell us why 70% of the men in prison are black??? Framed by the police? Way stupider than the white criminals? I know, they felt that they deserved some other person's TV - many time it is their own grand mother's TV??

Why not accept the truth that the black community has a problem - fostered by white - liberals - and try to solve the problem with real solutions. Blaming others has never solved a problem.
