But the average global temperature hasn't risen in 16 years. And the same global warming scientists who once predicted warming are now predicting another era of cooling. So here we have claims of warming, no warming, and cooling and all of them can be fixed with my money. Sorry bro, the left has asked too many scientists to go out and find global anything and give them money to find it and I'm supposed to be surprised when those scientists find what they were told to find otherwise their grants would end. Really?

Like I said earlier, liberals have a genetic need to panic over something, to have an overwhelming feeling of guilt that their existence is somehow a bad thing and the only way to relieve that guilt it to make everyone around them suffer.

I do care what other people believe because all of humanity depends on our cooperation to fix this problem. We're going to cause global extinction events if we don't knock it off, and global extinction doesn't sound terribly fun.

The entire climate is destabilized. It's gone up on average, but there's also a lot more tsunamis and storms and whatnot. It's kind of like complex algebra. If you've ever taken high school algebra, you'll know that you can graph an algebraic formula, and that if it's complex enough changing just one part of it can make the graph wildly different. We now understand that there's a lot of variables in the formula of weather (to continue the analogy) and the greenhouse effect changing just one causes massive fluctuations in everything else.

I'm of the opinion that the planet will take care of itself. It has a habit of doing that.

so let me ask you how many times does scientific predictions need to be wrong how many times does those same scientist need to be caught skewing data to fit their predetermined narrative before it isn't a science anymore but a cult?

Changing our ways will only help to interrupt the "climates" natural cycle very minimally. Many scientists have said this. The temperature of the earth is cyclical. Historically, the temperature has been higher and lower compared to the current findings. Many well know scientists do not think humans are the reason for changes in the Climate. Other scientists base their findings on computer models. Scientifically and historically we are in a pre-glacial cycle. Perhaps that is why we are experiencing the historically low temperatures and massive snow storms. In the Chicago area, we had these same storms in the 1970's and prior to that in the 1960's. I doubt we can impact the climate cycle in any significant way.

I'm a big supporter of global warming. Just imagine the day we can grow oranges in Canada.

Much in the same way that it took care of itself after the extinction of the dinosaurs. The planet will survive, but we'll die and the product of evolution in a hot earth will be very different from current life.

Climates don't have natural cycles. They only change when something triggers them to change.

Global Warming is basically the theory that the rise in surface water temperature will have more adverse effects on the climate, assuming everything else remains equal. Scientists do know that the rise in surface water temperatures have shifted the air jet streams, which has affected our climate where weather patterns have biome more erratic and severe. Man is a part of the environment, but man also has the cognitivie ability to choose what actions to take to help preserve the environement. It does not mean stopping all production or oil explaoration or natural gas exploration, but it does mean to try to come up with ways that would be minimally evasive to the evirnoment while at the same time preserving the wildlife and other natural surroundings.

Your analogy is dumber than a sack of bricks.

Sure, record cold temperatures and record snowfall are

    all proof of global warming.

    Every liberal knows this.

Ayuh,.... We'll kill ourselves, Long before the climate can,.....

It took tens of thousands of years to see 3 billion people on the planet,....

It only took 40 years to double that number,.....

Yer seein' death, 'n destruction in east asia because there's too many folks livin' on marginal coastal lands,....

There's always been storms, some worse than others all through history,....

I'm still surprised to see people that are not embarrassed to admit that they do not know the difference between weather and climate.

You mean like when Obama blames California's drought on global warming? Yeah, I was embarrassed, too.

Some people labor under the simplistic delusion that they know what is actually going on.

Sooo, the IPCC is wrong then eh?
