The internal investigation report was released and the officer was fired last Friday.

It really bothers you that people are talking about this, huh? Oh, well.

And you would never have known nothing about it if not for this thread, oh well!

You still haven't answered my question...what else do you want to be done?

Are you just looking for an argument?

You act like he was not held accountable, so why don't you direct your questions to the ones you think are responsible for that?

How many times are you going to ask the same simpleton question? I've answered you several times now.

I want police abuse of American citizens to stop. One way to further that goal is to show that these abuses do indeed happen. Hence, threads like this one on public forums.

Which part of that confuses you?

So you would call the thugs for help if it meant making or not losing money.

No firing him is not good enough, for the simple fact if his lie had not been discovered this young woman could have spent a few years in prison for something she didn't do.

I agree that what happens to him should reflect what he intended to do to her, but his lies and false allegations against her are not all he's guilty of. We know that the decision to arrest may not be made arbitrarily. If there was never a legitimate arrest, mere excessive use of force is not what he's guilty of.

He's guilty of assault and some kind of battery.

Felony assault and battery usually are felonies punishable by approximately one to twenty-five years in prison

How do you figure it is calling for help. The act was already committed. You need their blessing to file an insurance claim.

Do you not do a job at work because it is unpleasant to deal with someone?

    This exactly.

If I throw a woman against a truck then throw her to the ground and then jump on top of her, it's called assault and battery. If I detain a woman for no reason, it's called kidnapping. If I lie to the police during an investigation it's called obstruction of justice.

Apparently if you're a cop these suddenly stop being felonies?

I stand corrected. He's guilty of a lot more than assault and battery.

That's an idiotic comment. Superbadbrutha didn't mention the sheriff or the district attorney. You're just arguing to be arguing.

That says it all. You don't give a damn that an American citizen could have spent years in prison for a crime she didn't commit and the only reason she isn't in jail right now is because the incident just happened to be caught on film by a third party.

That's why you'll continue to see these incidents highlighted and talked about...because there are people like you who don't care if it continues or not (but cares greatly that people have the audacity to discuss it, which is odd) and then there are others that will flat out fabricate lies to defend a dirty cop as we've seen in this thread.

Good point especially with all these cop shootings lately, if I was a cop I'd be a little on edge myself

Once again this incident happened after all these cops being gunned down and you have to take that into account. This one officer should not be held liable for every wrong every cop ever did since there was a police department

This one cop is being held liable for HIS actions not every other cop.

No, it is not irrelevant because it shows a pattern of this type of behavior.

If this cop has a pattern of this type of behavior it's relevant but actions of other cops are irrelevant

There is definitely a pattern and cellphones are bringing it to the light.

What are you talking about? You just can't let sh*t go can you? You're still b*tching about Zimmerman despite the fact that it was over and settled 4 yrs. ago!

The cop has been fired and the charges were dropped and you are still complaining about what "could have" happened. It didn't so why are you still complaining about it?

Do you think blacks are the only people this sh*t happens to? Or are they the only ones you care about it happening to?
