Students have every right to develop and express their sexuality. It's okay to be a developing heterosexual. We have school dances and proms. These days, it's also okay to be LGBTQ+.

Students want their school to make sex education available. Why shouldn't they get what they want?

Teaching about and promoting sexual preferences are entirely different matters.

Schools typically allow parents to have their child opt out of detailed sex education, but we can't teach history without mentioning religion, sexual orientation, socialism, fascism, racism, sexism, etc.

Is being able to opt out enough for you?

I think you would do well to learn more about LGBTQ+. A lot of LGBTQ+ would be much happier if they could just be themselves.

I'm saying, through various exposure and exploring my sexual identity, I decided I have a preference to women. This process of determining one sexual preference does not need to be helped along.

Neither my parents, no education system, nor any other guidance system aided in me making this determination. Quite frankly, any attempt to do so is just plain creepy.
