No one thought Rome was on the collapse when Nero married his horse either. But its a well established pattern- right before an empire collapses, its people become obsessed with deviant sexuality. which is chicken and which is egg is up for debate. But the pattern is not.

I don’t want to get too technical, but Rome was about 400 years away from its collapse when Nero was emperor. One of the thing that brought Rome down was that they appointed barbarian leaders to take control of their military. The western part of the Roman Empire lost its defenders, and that was the beginning of the end. The west also had a string of bad emperors which helped to speed the collapsing process. Sound familiar?

As for Nero, he was a little like Warren G. Harding. He was in the wrong office. He really wanted to be a poet and entertainer, not an emperor. His power hungry mother probably poisoned his step father, Claudius, with deadly mushrooms to get him there. Nero had his mother killed, but it may have been a case in which one got to use the sword first. Roman history can be as spicy as any soap opera.

As for horse, you may have been thinking of the emperor Caligula, who came before Nero. He was rumored to have wanted his horse appointed to a high government position. Caligula was undoubtedly insane.

Nero did have a deviant sexual side. He stole one of his friend’s wives for himself. After she became pregnant, she got on his case for spending too much time chariot racing, which was one of Nero’s passions. Nero kicked her in the belly which resulted in her death. Nero was quite remorseful. Later he spotted a slave boy who bore a remarkable resemblance to his dead wife. He had the boy “neutered” so that his masculinity would not develop and had a running affair with him.

Maybe today the slave boy would have become “her,” but the Romans weren’t hung up about pronouns. At any rate, with no Christian principles to guide them, the Romans were fairly fast and loose with their morals and sexuality.

History can be great fun.

 

Xtian "morals" and "sexuality" have guided them into all sorts of perversions over the centuries and are therefore in no position to criticize anyone else, even someone like Nero.

Not as uncommon as you might want to believe.

Among Boomers those chances apply but the odds are significantly better among Millennials and GenZ. The odds of me encountering another trans boomer are slim to none and yet I have just discovered that someone of my age in my late soulmate's family is trans.

The data is still in flux but I am willing to bet that by the time the last GenZ turns eighteen the LBGTQ community will represent around 23% of the overall population, almost 1 in 4 of us.

There is also the well known fact that some parents of children with ASD discover that they too have ASD. This demonstrates a genetic link that was formerly unknown. It would not surprise me in the least if trans is just a recessive gene that sometimes pops up like red headed kids.

No miracles needed, but in the genetic lottery the odds were significantly better than you are assuming them to be.

A transgender Michigan woman has demanded her ex-boyfriend return her surgically removed testicles — which she claims he is keeping in a refrigerated jar.

Brianna Kingsley, 40, of Pontiac, filed an affidavit claiming her ex, William Wojciechowski, 37, “retains possession of my surgically extracted testicles, preserved in (a) Mason jar, kept in (the) fridge next to the eggs,” The Detroit News reported.

No sir. I've seen that data. The vast majority are identifying as bisexual. Not trans. (even though the amount of people who are now identifying as trans has doubled...it's still super rare) Trans, I've been told by the left...is suppose to be this super rare thing that I shouldn't be worried about and of which cannot be taught. You are either trans or you are not trans.

Remember the "expert" on Dr Phil who confronted Matt Walsh with the super scientific "why do you care" schpeel?

So since that's clearly the case made by progressives on these boards and elsewhere, then clearly what we have witnessed here is nothing short of a miracle!
