You having a reading comprehension issue That "Israel is the "Main" Lobby .. "is not part of the "Palestinian wall of Lies" is what is stated.

This in now way .. shape or form .. is me stating Israel is the main lobby. English not first language ? .. could be source of confusion .. .. well .. actually .. no .. not even that would not do it .. and your still rolling on the floor salivating ..

 

So then why in disagreement with @MGB ROADSTER did you talk about the SIZE of the Israeli lobby, rather than simply state that the claim in question (Israel is the main lobby) is not part of the "Palestinian wall of lies?"

 

Certainly, but we're talking about a democracy, where frenzy du jour becomes a topic of public debate, internal divisions, loss of votes for certain politicians, and fierce opposition. I'm not saying stuff can't hit the fan, but it's very unlikely.

Look at UK, back when the frenzy du jour was "the Muslims are coming run to the hills". What was unleashed? Brexit, that hurt the UK, not the immigrants themselves or their countries of origin. Democracies are weird like that.

Anyway, the frenzy du jour nowadays is wokeness, and it greatly favors the Iranian regime. Which should be quite frightening for ordinary Iranian citizens.

I know how western "democracies" work, having not just lived in the US but having handled many cases before both federal and state courts, including even a few 1st Amendment cases in the 15+ years of my practice as a lawyer in the US. I am not here to debate that issue.

As for the "frenzy de jour", I guess we don't see the same on this issue. The frenzy being "wokeness"? lol

On a point we both might agree, albeit for radically different reasons: while it seems there will be a nuclear agreement reached soon between Iran and the P5+1, I hope that won't be the case. I am firmly against the JCPOA, which I regarded even the first time as a fraud but which now would be an even bigger fraud.

What is Relevant - "Size of Lobby" .. refutes Claim 1 - supports Claim 2 and Claim 4 in terms of what Poster 2 was trying to get across but using bad/incorrect terminology "pro Israel lobby is big" for those who have slightest ability to read between lines as to what Poster 2 was trying to say .. and as per the actual issue being discussed.. not one of your gifts I know .. but for others that have such abilities ..the existence and size are both relevant and important - and for the other reasons stated above.
