Neither of them are doing much to distance themselves from Trump. Pence doesn't say much against Trump in interviews that he does, and as for Haley, when she was asked how she is different to Trump, she said that she doesn't "kick sideways!" Which is basically saying that she doesn't campaign in primaries.

Voter appeal, it's all about voter appeal. Sometimes sex appeal can work against you in politics. Think Sarah Palin for instance.

 

Don't think there is much of a sex appeal factor ... well .. I am biased .. opinion formed after mouth opened rather than before .. Could be Cindy Crawford --- but when open mouth can become ugly to me.

Certainly like Palin .. we have the dumb factor.. the difference I find is that on some level .. as much as I dislike her fundamentalist perspective .. she is a nice person . somewhere in there .. My claims are all verifiable with research. I could present them to you directly and you'd still reject them. If you wish to learn more, then do some research, as I'm even telling you where to look. Look up Ken Griffin. Look up the conservative media influencer meeting with DeSantis during December 2021 (Dave Rubin was one such influencer). Look up the fact that, to this day, none of them will honestly answer the question of who organized that meeting, even resorting to leftist Alinsky tactics whenever questioned about it.

 

Because of election fraud via ballot harvesting, voting machines with internet connections, outdated voter rolls, those voter rolls being used to ballot harvest ("You've already voted sir, by mail"... "ummm, no I haven't"), and on and on and on.

 

She supported the January 6 Commission. That makes her "super" for progressives. That doesn't mean that they will vote for her. It's just that they appreciate her "courage" to stand up to the MAGA Republicans and ruin her political career in the process.

Why is "courage" in quotes? It doesn't take much for a Trump hating Republican to do what they can to pull down Trump. If they don't get what they want, they support the Democrats, not matter how extreme they are.

I don't hate Trump. I just wish that he would retire from public life.
