She can throw up a hell of a body blow coming out of New Hampshire and heading into super tuesday, sucking all the wind out of his sails from his maybe 1 win in the Iowa caucus. South Carolina is kind of a make or break state to have momentum going into March.

No, Trump wants her in to take votes away from DeSantis.

DeSantis beats Trump in 2024 GOP primary — if Nikki Haley stays out: poll

    https://nypost.com/2023/02/09/poll-trump-beats-desantis-in-2024-gop-primary/

The larger the GOP primary field, the better chance of Trump winning with his 40% or more loyal, avid, MAGA, Trump supporters. They’re not going to desert Trump, but the more candidates in the field, the more certain Trump will be the GOP nominee. This is basically a repeat of 2016 where in an extra large field, Trump was winning primary after primary with 35% of the vote.

Best wishes to her but I fear she's not minority looking enough to qualify as a VP candidate.

Strategically she ought to have a chance. Seems like she'd do better against democrats in a general election than Trump or Santa.

Wasting millions, but on the plus side the millions she will be wasting will be coming from well heeled donors.

That is right. If there are 3 or more candidates Trump wins.

She's a neocon and has just as much of a chance of dethroning Trump as Jeb Bush did (or Liz Cheney does)...Which is to say not much of a chance.

Some say Niki Haley is really running for Vice President. Perhaps she is. The point the others make that votes for her end up helping Trump is valid.

I wish that the level-headed Republicans could agree on a candidate who could stop Trump, but they can’t. One of the problems with that is that the country needs a candidate who agrees with many of Trump’s policies, but who has a level of diplomacy, good sense and less narcissism, which Trump lacks.

That means we need to get beyond politicians like the Bushes and the Romneys who are nothing more than Democrat light. The Bushes managed to win their elections with a different generation of voters, but Romney and McCain rolled over and quit. That sort of Republican is the type that would endorse Hillary Clinton instead of having the good sense to keep their mouth shut if they don’t like the party’s nominee. One should never endorse corruption and evil.

This is irrelevant. South Carolina falls between New Hampshire and Super Tuesday. Unless Trump were to win at least 2 of the 3 among NH, Nevada, and the rigged Iowa Caucus, his campaign will be going into Super Tuesday on life support because he won't win South Carolina with Haley still in the race.

She's a 2-5% at any primary, she's really running for Veep. She, IMO, has entered the race as a spoiler for the Mango Menace OR she's reading the tea leaves and expects that Trump will ultimately not complete the race for one or another reasons. Either way, this helps Trump secure his 20-30% of the extreme right and the extreme deniers. It's like the Mike Pence POTUS dream (he did come one step away i must admit), he will NEVER be POTUS and should do the right thing and serve his oath to the country and history.

She'd do very well in the general election, but I don't know if she's extremist enough to win the party primary.

    Again.
If Sununu runs Haley is not just toast in NH she's burnt toast.
btw: Haley will never deliver a "body blow" to anyone.

I chuckle everytime I read "trumps policies" or GOP policies.

trump and the GOP have but ONE POLICY

    1. whatever the democrats attempt , oppose it...

    kinda sad actually...

example the GOP takes control of the house a few weeks ago

the ONLY thing the GOP is worried about is twitter and attacking the democrats

seems they could be working on the budget or healthcare or one of a thousand other things that need political attention

    but NO..

instead they opt to allow themselves to look like fools pursuing something nobody cares about..

50% of twitter users never send a message...

and one of four verified twitter users call themselves journalists

that is like every poster here claim to be a jounalist because we converse on a free message board

the top 25% of twitter users post 97% of the content

even if the GOP could prove the democrats are guilty...there will be no consequences

Twitter is not a public utility ,,it is NOT a town square..

the excuse will be all to familiar and read something like ..

twitter may be unethical and rude and false... but it is not illegal ..the exact same was said about trump

    what a joke...

the GOP has control of the house for the next 2 years..

I predict they get NOTHNG DONE..

the next 2 years will be more whining and crying and doing dumb things like allowing MTG to speak publically

    and guess what??

the GOP is just as guilty as the DNC trying to manipulate certain narratives through twitter.

trump himself contacted twitter and demanded a tweet be removed and the person that made the tweet be banned

New Hampshire is about bragging rights and dollars. Trump won't win the nomination without the South Carolina primary. The press will eat him alive.

You can chuckle, but the differences between the parties is becoming vast. Your party has become a socialist / communist shell. The far leftists control it. You can argue that socialism under the Democrats will be different from all of history, but the people who the history of socialism, which is the step before communism, know the truth.

    You can resume chuckling.

Nikki Haley doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell.

She is only in the race as a puppet "attack dog" for the RINO Party establishment so that they can use her to attack Trump while simultaneously clinging onto a number of BS pretenses in order to keep DeSantis on the sidelines for as long as possible. "Top Gov" DeSantis is the RINO Party establishment's actual candidate for President against Trump.

Nikki, and any others, merely serve as distractions and additional people on the stage to gang up on Trump. IOW, Ron DeSantis 2024 IS Ted Cruz 2016. The only difference between 2016 & 2024, besides the Rep Gov's Assn playing a bigger role this time, is that the RINO Party is skipping trying to ultimately sell people on the "Jeb!" type candidate that nobody wants and is instead ultimately selling a candidate that the MAGA supporters actually like and using him as an attempt to pull enough support away from Trump to retain the status quo.

For me, the 2024 Presidential (s)election is Donald Trump or bust. I will not vote for anybody else, and will write in Trump's name if he isn't the Republican nominee.

That's why the RINO Party establishment is using DeSantis as their "chosen one" to dethrone Trump this time around...

    She is.

No worries... She'll drop out late this year (or very early next year) and endorse DeSantis. The other Hollywood Squares line-up of RINO candidates will do the same thing, but at different timings. Some of them might not openly endorse DeSantis in order to allow for the pretense that that's not what they're all actually doing.

The RINO Party establishment and their handlers have already decided on DeSantis as that candidate. They have to purposely hold him back from announcing until last so they can keep up the pretense that his Presidential campaign wasn't already pre-planned since at least December 2021 when Christina Pushaw organized a bunch of conservative media influencers to gather with DeSantis and give them talking points to promote DeSantis over Trump.

Who better to enact Trump's policies than Trump himself?

... by voting for the very same "chosen candidates" that the very same RINO Party establishment funds/supports/endorses/promotes??

They won with enough Hispanic support (and RINO club support). The Hispanic support has only come back to Republicans as of lately because of Trump (MAGA). Without Trump (MAGA), those voters are gone. Without Trump (MAGA), the working class rust belt voters are also gone. Of course, none of this really matters much so long as (s)elections are being held instead of elections.

... because Obama was "the chosen one", and it wasn't the RINO Party's turn to hold power. The RINO Party at this point is merely a wholly owned subsidiary of the Democrat Party, who focuses on the 'power' side of things for the Uniparty (the RINO Party focuses more on the 'money' side of things).

They would (and did) endorse Hillary Clinton because their RINO Party is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Democrat Party. They don't want MAGA coming in and ****ing things up for them by removing their Uniparty status quo. That's why they vehemently hate Donald Trump and want you to support someone ANYONE else other than Donald Trump.

If they suck you over into supporting DeSantis (or anyone else) other than Trump, then they win. Their goal is to crush Trump, crush MAGA, and crush anyone who supports MAGA. They don't want their status quo removed. Trillions are at stake!

... and he will also be running.

She (and eventually Tim Scott) are running to keep SC out of Trump's hands.
Sununu will run to keep NH out of Trump's hands.

This is all planned out already.
